This builders has a poor understanding of business. He was quite condescending when asked about certain things relating to having my project done . he gets a bit agitated when asked probing questions . But I think it’s important to have full understanding before embarking on any building project . He is also not gas and electric certified .It was quite difficult trying to make arrangements re my project and therefore I decided to use another more efficient builder who was not only keen to collect first payment but also keen to put my mind at ease by answering questions that led to a full understanding of what they were going to do .

I have worked with many builders over the course of our 2 year renovation. Some of them great and others an embarrassment to the profession to say the least.Patrick and his team have not only never let me down, but have helped to reassure my partner and I that we were in good hands. Patrick has a great professional manner and is also very approachable, for example when I've requested to discuss quotes or make amendments to my requests at the last minute, its never been an issue. I believe he gives his fair and honest opinion on projects and offers genuine advice not with how much money he can make from you being his only agenda.I believe he enjoys his job and takes pride in his work and this for me is key in any field of work.I have currently employed Third Eye Builders on a 3rd project. I can vouch and say, if he says he will be there Monday 9am, he will be there and the job will be done! No messing around!It has been a pleasure to work with them so far and I look forward to completing my current project with the team.

Patrick worked for me and I have been very impressed with the workmanship considering it was short notice I have no complaints he and his team refurbished my front and rear garden with tiles and decking and it is very very nice I certainly would recommend him to others.

Patrick Walker and his team at Third Eye Builders are the definition of COWBOY BUILDERS and I strongly would NOT recommend him for any project.I started a home refurbishment in June 2020 which included laying and resanding floor boards,redoing a bathroom and putting in a new kitchen etc TEB are disorganised beyond belief.Despite numerous asks they would not provide me with any schedule of payment Or of works. I believe Patricks tactic is to quote low and then charge extortionately for extras throughout the job. For e.g., he charged £600 to plaster a wall 2.3m wide by 2m high wall (just one wall in a bathroom) .He does this by quoting a job then charging you an extortionate prices for the ‘extra’ then leaving the job incomplete if you do not agree new price .He also does jobs that you didn’t ask for then advise you that he has already done it so you must pay. (Again extortionate)Their knowledge of general building works is limited.TEB removed a fireplace and did not leave space for a vent which is standard practice .They plastered walls having not run the wires for the kitchen fridge etc then charging me ‘extras” to remedy their mistake .floors were improperly done (poor sanding and white wood filler)see pics.their in house design “service” for kitchens is poor. Co-director Dean Walker has no experience designing and basic requirements in a kitchen are consistently missed.During the project TEB advised me that rubbish removal will be £2400.I asked him to use a skip which would be more cost effective. He got infuriated and stated that he had already paid £1500 on removal and I should give him £900 to use “his guys”.when asked why rubbish from his other jobs had been dumped in front of my house,TEB got upset. This is the series of lies used to try and get extra money noting that his original quote was £17,000.he then proceeded to ramp up the prices despite me having already paid £21,000 to him. Once I paid this,he told me he was going abroad to get married and would not proceed with works until I paid him an extra £5000 and agreed to all his new almost doubled quote. Nb,At this point only one bedroom floor had been done correctly, the other is yet to be fixed.boiler installation was also incomplete .The first fix electrical wiring was also not progressed.when I asked about gas and electrical safety certificate, Patrick became defensive because they were not CERTIFIED. Having been quoted by a window specialist previously to do some restoration TEB stepped in and stated they would match the price as they were already working on the property.(I agreed to this).TEB then removed windows, smashing glass that I didn’t advise them to and then sent an email advising me that he will now have to increase the cost.TEB has left my property with exposed electrical wires,uplifted floor,open walls , unclosed loft , unfinished plumbing,removed windows . I thereafter stated to Patrick that I will not be making any more payments until I have seen some jobs closed off. He responded with an email stating that his quote was no longer the cost agreed and proceeded to increase the costs by almost 50% despite the spec of the work not changing. For obvious reasons, I would not agree.After not agreeing to this new spiked quote and insisting that TEB completed jobs to the tune of the payments already made. TEB then packed up their tools and materials bought for my job, including some materials and tools I myself had left on site and left refusing to complete the jobs I had already paid for.TEB stated they will return my stuff when they found some time.I have contacted TEB repeatedly for a refund or completing jobs paid for and I have heard nothingPLEASE DO NOT USE THIS BUILDER OR ANYONE OPERATING UNDER THE NAME OF PATRICK WALKER, DEAN WALKER OR REANNE WALKER.

I strongly advise not to use 3rd eye builders adds the quality of work is very poor him and his son Do not know about the building industry I will post pictures of his poor quality of work and how he left my home He claimed that he had his own team which was a lie His own workforce spoke poorly of him Patrick does not know about the building game He's a high risk and make good builders look bad Once again hes a liability

I was recommended third eye builders and I can gladly say I was not disappointed. I was most impressed with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone. Patrick and his team are very polite and professional and I will certainly be using them in future projects. One of the job's they did for me was to render a pebble dash front wall I wasn't sure how it would look but as I stated l was diffinetly not disappointed.

Third Eye are an amazing firm. A real find. They were working outside and inside our property. Excellent execution of the work, above and beyond, with attention to detail. The workers are easy company, knowledgeable and worked tirelessly and quietly. The inside plastering was completed with absolutely no dust at any time! Am recommending them to all I know.

Refurbishment of 3-Bedroomed FlatThe reason I chose Third Eye Builders (“TEB”) was that they understood the problems I faced, and were prepared to quote accordingly. I have been in the building trade for 40 years, and could see that they were a professional company. This gave me peace of mind and confidence that the job would be done to a very high standard, i.e., no cutting corners. The end result was amazing, resulting in the property being let within 2 days at a higher rent than marketed.Nothing was too much bother. They were a great team of professionals, and a delight to work with. They were always early to start, and prepared to work 7 days a week to turn the job around. Being an Edwardian property, we had to overcome structural and damp problems. The whole project, including roofing work, took 5 months. We are delighted with the end result, now a modern, high-spec property.I will definitely call on Patrick and his team for any future building work projects. They came up trumps!

Absolute cowboys who literally stole from me! Patrick & Shane are the type of builders that they make TV programs about. Avoid at all costs

Third Eye Builders(TEB) impressed me with their initial assessment of the job, whatI thought would be a simple external decoration of a Victorian house quite rightly turned out to be something far more comprehensive. TEB diagnosed a range of repair works that needed to be undertaken prior to any paint job, these included re-pointing of the brickwork, removal and repair of damaged sash window frames, the rebuilding of a front garden wall that was leaning and required rendering. Other firms quoting had simply ignored these problems and I can only presume would have painted over rotten timber and damaged masonry. All the work was carried out to a very high standard by a team that was friendly and reliable. At all stages through the job TEB clearly and concisely explained what the next stage of work involved. Overall a thoroughly professional job.Catherine
