Something Special Introductions

This was my first time speed dating. Everyone turned up on their own, so it was easy for me to start talking to other women before the dates, which meant I wasn’t feeling nervous anymore. I had a really good evening, I didn’t meet any men that I would like to see again, but I did swap numbers with other girls and we will be going again!

Caringly organised with a light touch and not a little humour, last night's event was relaxed and fun. I'm happy to say that everyone I met proved to be great company before, during and after the speed chats - which themselves were eye-opening, amazing how much information can be shared between two people in six minutes! Thanks for a great evening Jules...and who knows?!!!

Well organised. I attended a speed dating event. A good range of people.

I have been to a few speed dating events in London lately but this was a major step up in quality. Everyone who was supposed to show up did so on a rainy night (rather than the normal 20%ish dropout rate). On arrival, I received a personalized sheet with all the names of the ladies preprinted. Although arriving before the event started, I showed up later than requested by Jules. However, she still greeted me as if I was a friend she hadn't met before, as she also did with everyone else. She explained to us individually exactly how it all worked and also persuaded most of us to stay on chatting after the formal part was over.This personalized level of attention before, during and after the night is how these things should be done. I'd give a sixth star if I could !

Jules is lovely and it was a great evening!

I wasn't able to attend an event as my plans changed and I gave over a weeks notice but was refused a refund and could only have a credit if I wanted to go to another event. Jules often cancels events and usually at short notice and offers refunds if this happens, so I think it is a short sighted policy to keep the customer's money for possibly months before another event comes up when their circumstance alter as they invariably do from time to time. It has quite soured the experience and I shan't go again.

What a great evening! This was my first experience of speed dating and I really enjoyed it. Jules the host is very welcoming and the event is so well organised. Nice pub too with friendly staff. All those who attended were lovely, I made new friends as well as a match!
