Charlotte was absolutely amazing at my wedding dress alterations. I had ordered my dress before I lost my baby weight so it needed to be taken in and she did such an incredible job - it fitted perfectly and felt so comfortable to wear! It was a great experience going in for fittings, the girls are all so nice and the shop is lovely and in a great location. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Such a delight to find Charlotte and her team. Daughters dress needed tweaks and Charlotte made the fittings so calm and stressfree. My daughter looked wonderful on her big day as she was confident her dress fitted like a glove!

(Writing on my husband’s account)Charlotte did all my alterations for my wedding dress, she was so professional and offered advice where I wasn’t sure.She put me at ease at each fitting and hyped me up when I had a wobble about it being too tight on the day!Charlotte and the team also altered 2 of my bridesmaid’s dresses and both of the girls commented on how lovely the girls at the Sewing Rooms were when they had their fittings.Couldn’t recommend Charlotte and the team enough!Becca Doherty x

Unreliable and uncourteous. I Put my bridesmaid dress in to be altered and went to collect on the date they said and it wasn’t ready. Still had pins in it and the lady that was dealing with it hadn’t left a note for her colleagues to say why. Also they didn’t even bother to ring me to say it wasn’t ready so I turned up. When it was finally done the work was good but I was lucky that I had another 4 weeks until the wedding otherwise it would have been a disaster! Never got an explanation for why it wasn’t done when they promised. Simple phone call next time to avoid me having a wasted trip. Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend as reliability is key in this sort of business and for a busy mum like myself having to make repeat journeys to collect was not ideal.

Charlotte is exceptional, the whole team here are just lovely and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. I walked in with my wedding dress which needed particular alterations due to my mastectomy and the dress having an open back and Charlotte listened and made the necessary alterations to my dress perfectly and I felt so at ease. Charlotte added additional details to my dress such as shiffon sleeves, large cuffs with buttons, back buttons, belt and all without a roll of her eyes, even when I was really indecisive, nothing was too much trouble to her. She genuinely wanted me to feel like a princess and for my dress to be perfect and it truly was, I felt so confident and beautiful on my wedding day and that all came from my dress! I got married at the end of 2020 so there were tons of logistical issues organising our wedding but I had a great experience using Charlotte for my dress alterations. Despite the fact that my one bridesmaid was based in Dubai and only arrived in the UK a few weeks before the wedding, she managed alter her dress with no issues in a short time scale. I would definitely her recommend this business.

Charlotte and her team are so talented.From the second I walked into the shop with my wedding dress, Charlotte was calm, professional and is super lovely! Even when I had a wobble and walked in with another dress, nothing was too much trouble.I decided to add on extra material to the dress 2 weeks before my wedding and without hesitation Charlotte jumped to task and completed the work needed.I would highly recommend Charlotte to ANY BRIDE wanting their dream dress altered.Thank you lovely xx

I cannot thank Charlotte and her team enough! I took my wedding dress to The Sewing Room West Kirby to be altered and for a belt to be added. I had multiple fittings and nothing was too much trouble. I was made to feel important and when I asked for a detail to be changed (that I'd initially asked for) it was not a problem. Charlotte and her team made sure I felt 100% happy in my dress and on the day I felt a million dollars. My dress fit perfectly. Charlotte and her team also altered a jumpsuit for one of my bridesmaids. I can't thank them all enough. I will definitely be using them again in the future and recommending them to everyone I know xxx

I cannot recommend this business enough. Jacqui and Charlotte made alterations to my wedding dress and lace overlay that were just fantastic. The changes made were complex but they made them seamlessly (no pun intended) and I felt confident in their abilities throughout. The dress was amazing on the day and I felt comfortable and confident throughout. Also they are just the loveliest ladies. Thank you so much!
