Was there for the Boxing. Had booked a table near a TV. Which we got. We had to ask to have it put on several times. Ordered food and the food was not nice... Portion size has shrunk. I've eaten there before many times but was really disappointed this time. I asked for a napkin and was told they'd ran out at 8pm on a Saturday. So ended up going to the toilet. Love going there we've been going there for years but this place really needs a refurbishment especially the toilets. Feel sorry for the staff

Called in for drinks on Sat night (02 Dec) 10pm, after a Xmas meal. Around 1030 the staff started trying to clear the pub , telling people to finish their drinks up. I tried to order a cocktail at 1030 and the bar manager said she wouldnt make any cocktails as it was too late . Another big party came in around 1030 and got the same treatment . Hurry up guys you’ve only got 20 mins. Customers were addressed rudely. Seems this place does not want any trade after 1030 on a Saturday night. We were poorly served and won’t be coming back.

We couldn't be happier with the service we received! We booked a Saturday lunch for a group of 14, including 4 kids under 5, to celebrate my son's 3rd birthday. The manager, Helena, and the rest of the staff were extremely attentive and helpful throughout our visit. Our meals were served in good time and the tables are always cleaned efficiently. Such a great menu for kids too! Considering the prominent location it's very cost effective. The overall atmosphere of the place was pleasant and we appreciated its cleanliness. We will be returning!

For a Green King pub the food seemed to have been under a hot lamp for awhile. Bar service not as expected with bar staff ignoring queue and serving others that they knew.

This pub has great outdoor seating and is very cute inside. We ordered a bunch of food and waited almost an hour because they were short-staffed. We recognized this challenge but were a little disappointed because the portions were very small and seemed like they threw something onto a plate and called it a day. But the lemon tart (vegan) was excellent. I recommend this place as a pub but you may find better food elsewhere.

This was my first time to Stratford and my wife knew of the Rose & Crown , having visited numerous times before . What a lovely place to have your lunch !! The location is close enough for all the tourist sights . The staff are helpful , and polite. As it was nice , We sat outside in the courtyard and watched a bit of Rugby on the big screen TV situated in one of the outbuildings. We really enjoyed it and now we know where it is , we'll be going again . A definite thumbs up from us .

Good food, tasty tap beer, a nice traditional pub atmosphere. Pretty chill place to unwind after a long day of exploring. Lots of space inside, plus a large wrap around patio. Louder upbeat music is in the back, while the front of the pub is nearly silent (actually a great thing - choose your preference!) They have their own beer on tap too, and it’s pretty darn good :-)

Very nice spot for a pint or to watch a football match. However, the place was very overcrowded when i was there and it took a while to get to the bar. Then, we waited good 20-25min for our fish and chips and chicken wings. Food was of good quality but the only table left wasn’t very comfortable and it was very hot inside (it was a sunny day in fairness). Nonetheless, i’d rate it 4/5. Once you get to the bar, the bartender was really friendly and quickly made the drinks. Thanks!
