Knowledgeable and friendly staff, good tips and well explained introductory lessons

Staff are always friendly and talkative. They know a lot about the hobby and are extremely helpful.

Our 6 year old was drawn into the store by the wonderful window display. In fact, visiting the store twice today! He knew nothing about Warhammer, and thanks to the kindness, patience and enthusiasm of Elliot he is very excited about it now. Elliot explained everything to him with such calmness and enthusiasm whilst our child listened intently. He built a model, painted it and learnt to play a game. Thank you so much for taking the time to introduce young people to Warhammer. It is a real skill to be able to keep our child engaged, thank you!

Very unfriendly and unhelpful store.My daughter came with me today and we asked if she could do some model painting and was told she was unable to do so as they wouldn't have any models left if everyone came in just wanting to do model painting.My son and I have been doing the hobby together for over a year, we won't be coming back to this store

Excellent shop and staff - very helpful and informative!

I have been thinking of getting into the hobby for several years and I went into the store to buy the starter set for 40K. When I got there I was greeted by Greg and he is phenomenal. Very very easy to talk to, very friendly and knows the hobby incredibly well.I ended up buying the Dark Imperium Starter Set along with the £5 Magazine, spray paint and the £20 paint set to get me started. I was thinking of buying more, but the staff pointed out that if I do too much I'll burn out and I would enjoy it more if I took it at a slower pace - so they definitely do not push sales!I struggled a bit with the painting and following Greg's advice, I decided to message the store on Facebook Messenger asking if they would be able to help me. Within 5 minutes, I got a reply (at 8am on a Sunday!) and then got booked in for someone to guide me through it at 11:30 the same day.This is by far the best customer experience I have *ever* had with a store.

My son is dabbling with the idea of starting his Warhammer journey so we have been into the Reading store a couple of times in the last week. On both occasions the staff have been really friendly and answered all of my sons questions, taking the time to explain how Warhammer works in a passionate and informative way, completely capturing my sons interest and encouraging his imagination. He hasnt stopped talking about Warhammer for the past couple of weeks and I can really see how he is going to enjoy the whole experience of build, paint, play with the instore, and online, tutorials and guidance.

An excellent place with excellent and very helpful staff. The ambience is inviting and the selection of product is vast!
