Killyhevlin Lakeside Hotel & Lodges

++Poor customer service++We popped in for lunch on Tuesday having heard great things from family regarding the Killyhevlin. Whilst the grounds and views are wonderful, the service was extremely disappointing to say the least.We arrived and waited to be seated as per the sign at the restaurant for the best part of half and hour. Staff did look down to see us, before continuing on and ignoring the fact we were waiting to be seated. We did approach staff to give them a heads up that we were there - each time they said someone would be right over to us..they weren't. Should be noted this was about 3pm in the afternoon and most tables were empty. It was certainly after the main rush for lunch and it felt as though the staff had just given up. This totally took away from the excitement we had on visiting the hotel for the first time and having travelled over 2hrs to do so. When we were seated, lunch was served promptly but not together. Our side order was around 15 minutes later than the rest of our food - no apology made which is just bad manners.Overall really disappointing experience due to very poor customer service. Massive shame and a let down because we loved the look of the new lodges and had planned on coming back to stay with family but this has left a bad taste in the mouth and very unexpectedly so.

Had room with shower and asked to change and no bother. Great service. It's one of my favourite hotels and have travelled widely

Lovely Hotel with a great view.Food is lovely and staff are the friendliest about.The grounds around the perimeter are perfect for evening walks.The rooms are very nice and cosyI always enjoy staying here, and always look forward to my next business trip in the area

I visited the Killyhevlin today with my husband, just to have dinner. We had not made a reservation but we were given a table on arrival. I had the cod with mash, it was delicious, especially the sauce. I also had a very generous portion of side salad. My husband had the beef, also with mash, which he enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a lovely view over the lake from the hotel, we had a short walk around the grounds after our meal, and saw the new lakeland studios, which are opening next month.

Fabulous stay, beautiful lodges on the river with bonus hot tub. Very close to Enniskillen town. Restaurant in hotel a bit dated and breakfast was very standard, nothing special. But highly recommend the lakeside lodge, spotless and everything you need for a lovely comfortable stay.

My partner and I stayed at the beginning of this week to relax after a busy weekend. I think this is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The views were exceptional while chilling with a cocktail overlooking the lough. Rooms were clean, food was amazing. Couldn't fault any of the staff. The service was perfect and I would like to give a shout out to Kate who was working at the bar for being so friendly. :) Thanks for an amazing stay. I hope to be back as soon as possible

I just stayed for 3 nights with my friend and we had a fantastic time. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem. They even gave me a lovely card and special Birthday dessert. Highly recommend this hotel. Stunning views with the most relaxed atmosphere including the lovely pool/jacuzzi /spa. Perfect for a few days away to relax. The food was also lovely. We could not fault anything at all.

Lovely hotel in a great location with amazing views. Great for havinf a stroll around the grounds after dinner. Found the food a bit over priced on my last visit and not quite as good as our first visit. Accommodation expensive for one night but what hotel isn't at the moment.

Lovely location and good on-site parking. Reception staff not that approachable. Dining was awful as they were short staffedand so service was terribly slow to almost non existent. However the waitress was lovely and friendly even though she was run off her feet. Food was nice.

Went to the Killyhevlin to meet someone yesterday and had lunch there. Spectacular location, huge windows in the bar / restaurant which maximise the views of the lake / river outside. Service was good and the food was excellent. Both of us had the prawn and smoke salmon salad. Generous portions of each, beautifully fresh, delicious from first to last. I'd order it again today.Very reasonably priced; when so many other places seem to over-price their offerings, this was not the case here.Waiting staff very friendly and helpful. Service was very quick once food was ordered. Staff gave us all the time we needed.A definite stopping point on my next trip to Enniskillen.
