Bourne Wood Car Park
A surreal, magical place. Whether you're in for a short walk or a longer trek with the family, you'll be able to get your needs met. You can bring your horse, pony and dogs here. Car parking is plentiful. A must visit.

The car park is a car park. Bourne Woods are very nice. The play ground went years ago. The toilets have been shut for years. Very nice to walk around though with lots of interlocking paths.Very muddy in the rainy season ie about 7 months of the year.Dogs welcome. Mine love it.

Great place for dog walking/cycling. Track down to car park is a little rough and pot holey. No cafe or facilities. Beautiful views. Picnic benches dotted around the woods tracks. Small lakes at the top of the woods.

We have been to the woods many time,. Our dog loves it here.I wish they would put bins for the poo bags as so many people bag it them throw the bag on the ground?? It really does spoil it for the ones who don't leave a mess.The car park has many bench's for picnics. And there is plenty of parking spaces

Brilliant place for walking especially with a dog. Main paths in gravel so you can keep clean footwear even in wet weather.Lots of tree & branches wigwams to explore or make with children

Bourne Wood Car Park
We haven't been here for years, so we decided to give it another try. Overall, the woods were lovely, and there was lots of wildlife to see and hear. We also didn't meet many people quick was nice. I would say it's very disappointing there didn't seem to be any dog poo bins, which was apparent from the number of bags we saw left or just left poo. There is no toilet or facilities open. There is a hard path to follow, which was handy.

I sat in my car for just over an hour, it was really peaceful. Just a few vehicles pulling in and out. Some local wildlife taking advantage of the picnicers. Sadly, no WC, only what nature provides. The walks are easy on the feet, unless there's been heavy equipment working. A nice place for dog walking or taking the kids to explore. I've seen cyclists but I'm not aware of any bespoke courses. There is an hardcore road that passes through. All in all it suits all ages. It's clean and tidy but you need to bring your own food and drink.
