Lovely country pub to go to if your in the area. Went yesterday (2/08) and again another enjoyable time. Was quite busy today but not problem for the staff

This is a great pub. Had a couple of meals here. Good choice of well cooked pub classics and reasonably priced. I'm strictly gluten free but still had a good choice guided by our friendly landlord. We need more pubs like this.

First time here, enjoyed a drink and a meal in their outdoor area, loved the garden certainly lives up to its name, chatting to the staff gave us ideas for walking routes when next in the area, we will be back

The pub is very quirky with its memorabilia, the landlord and the staff are very pleasant and very welcoming. The food was amazing and plenty of it, we went with family who go here on a regular basis. I will be going there again.

Pub with character! Great landlord, and full of interesting objects and quirky memorabilia! So worth a look! Reason I go there often.... Big plate carvery with loads of veg! Even do lamb.
