Parked up five minutes before opening, coming in for a pint, while my father finished up a phone call. The owner came out and stated we needed to purchase a drink to park there. It was empty and there were two remaining parking completely free but I went in and ordered a Diet Coke while my father finished his call before he would come in for his own drink. I was told when making the Diet Coke purchase that if I left the premises he would clamp our car.Within 25 minutes the owner was trying to bully me out of the empty pub, rushing me to finish my drink and very rudely telling me to get out and leave.I informed him I’m a paying customer, he clearly doesn’t need the parking space in this moment, why is he hassling me? He said the other two were “booked up” and he needed ours. Ridiculous. I believe my treatment was racially motivated and I don’t think he would have treated another person this way.As we began to move our car, he came out and took pictures of us. Deeply unpleasant and likely racist owner. We remained in the area for another half an hour at a cafe nearby. The two other spots were not used in that time.

Been cycling past this place for years, noticed that it serves Thai food but have never gone in. Today that changed as I had a red curry urge. Really nice, proper boozer. Well kept, good selection of beers and helpful bar staff. Went for the red curry with chicken and a cheeky chicken satay on the side. Curry lacked the full chilli punch but was very tasty. All washed down with a couple of ice-cold Morettis. Perfect Monday evening. I'll be back.

Great pub, very nice staff (including the landlord), one of the best (if not the best) Guinness you can get in London. No nonsense pub.

Fast, friendly service on a Thursday evening. The tasty English and Thai food was served in generous portions and well received by all. Two casks ales available and all needs of our small party catered for with a smile. Would recommend.

I would just look at all the previous comments on the grumpy rude sad gentleman who may end up serving you if you are unlucky.3pm Friday it was empty all I can say is no wonder.

Today is my first time to pop in as I was passing by, im not ashamed and will always said never again, pub looks ok but the old man who was behind the bar is very rude and I think racist because I asked for a cup of tea and a snack he brought me 2 pieces of biscuits on a tissue paper, an old man came in ordered for coffee and biscuits he was offered 4 pieces on a plate. This bar man then gave me wrong change , when I asked him he said wait and brought the balance but with so much disgust on his face, this is a place to avoid, shameful.

Good pub grub, draft beer and tea/coffee in a traditional, authentic, English public house.

A proper London boozer. The landlord is great and they have Irish crisps and pop which my daughter enjoyed very much. Will have to try the grub next time as the menu looked top notch. Much more down to earth than other pubs in the area.

Good pub to stop over and catch up with friends for a drink. Even we have been there on Fridays, it's loud so you can actually chat and unwind after a long day. Wine selection is not remarkable only but the Rioja great. There is a bit if parking and after some time you can get free parking outside in the street.

A nice local feeling with reasonable prices, a choice of Thai food or English foods. Friendly dogs welcomed.
