Ed Kase Motorcycles

Nice guy but not a great outcome. Asked me to bring bike down but then said nowhere to keep it. So left outside. I asked that it was kept dry, and it got soaked. Told it got a ‘bit wet’. Spent hours getting rid of all the rust! Told bike 95% sorted but almost broke down on the way home. Spent over £200 on nothing really. Still have same issues with bike and he doesn’t seem that bothered. If it was me, I’d want the bike back to sort it. Avoid

Ed has been an absolute angel... He looked after another one of my sons who's fairly new to riding.His bike was making odd noises and he wasn't feeling confident in his only form of transport. Ed gave it a once over sorted a few bit and pieces out for him and certainly hasn't ripped him off.One of the best things from my perspective is Ed isn't judgemental about the fact it's a 125 and not a fantastic make. He's happy to ensure my son is safe on the road. And you can't put a price on that!

Ed was an absolute star. My son's bike had been reversed into, (sadly no details left by whoever did that). I needed the bike fixed as quickly as possible. I spoke to Ed on Friday, he asked us to bring the bike across and agreed to get the damage fixed. Ed sorted the damaged, did a full service at my request and handed the bike back to my son by Monday. It had even had a clean. Price was very reasonable. My son commented the bike felt like new. Would recommend. Thanks Ed for all your help, it was so very much appreciated. Oliver says he will be back to see you for his next bike!

Rang Ed as my modern classic (1980s) Honda CB900 was having starting a running problems, as well as fork oils and seals needing doingEd was more than happy to listen to me and talk me through what I was experiencing and what I had done so far. Other garages near me didn't seem interested in hearing about the steps taken and just wanted the bike brought in.Ed picked the Honda up (after a failed delivery attempt on my part) and kept me up to date through text to advise when he started work on it.It was nice to see the pictures being uploaded on his Facebook, as it provides confidence the work is really being done, and properly. During his investigation, he found and fixed a few other bits and pieces as he went.Forks were done, and the Honda now starts and runs (at least, I've been out on it 3 times since without problems - which is a record for this bike in my ownership). I look forward to riding it throughout the summer.It is refreshing to find a mechanic/engineer, rather than simply a parts fitter.

I needed help with a cutting and welding job on the side stand on my VT750s after the shop I bought it from (not Ed Kase) lowered the bike at my request leaving the side stand sitting too high.I found Ed Kase after doing some research on Facebook and Google for a local motorcycle mechanic with welding expertise and asked him to do the job. He did a stellar job cutting and welding the kick stand to correct size, adding extra reinforcement to the stand to strengthen it and even painting it all up to look like new. I enquired on the off chance about getting my seat lowered too and that was also taken care of. My seat had the padding trimmed and shaped to take the height down and some memory foam added for comfort. I was delighted to get my bike back and be able to put my feet flat on the ground which I couldn't do before.Ed and his dad are really professional yet down to earth and have a real old school passion about bikes. We spent a good while chatting before and after the job and I would certainly be looking to Ed Kase again if I want any more modifications done.

After moving to the south coast for work, I was on the lookout for a trustworthy mechanic who would be capable of dealing with an older bike that might throw a few tricky problems their way. Ed has looked after my 1989 BMW Airhead R65 Monolever for the last 2 years and the bike hasn't skipped a beat. He always goes above and beyond to make sure it's safe, reliable and leaves no stone unturned. Honestly? I couldn't think of anyone better to look after my bike.

Took my bike in for a little bit of tlc, and getting some wiring gremlins fixed, they helped me get my bike running like a dream again! Fantastic guys, great work, and a good laugh! Cheers fellas!

I went to Ed Kase Motorcycles today. My Rebel 500 needed oil and filter change. I had a warm welcome from Ed and Daddy". They also checked everything was fine and running smoothly as I'm going to a trip to the Isle of Wight in two days. Best customer service ever. They listen to their customers and do a great job. I'll certainly use them for next service or any other kind of job that has to be done on my bike. Thank you again!"

Incredible turn around time. Professional. Superb paint job done on my bike. Secure lock up too. Very happy with the work and will be coming back!
