Cosy pub, warm welcome, good beer and conversation, dog friendly! What more could you want?Recently under new management. Continues to be a comfortable village pub. Colin and Sara are working hard to make it theirs, and plan to do food when they're properly settled in.

Was passing through a couple of weeks ago and stopped briefly for a pee. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere invited us to stay. So glad we did. The beer was cold and tasty and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. After being enticed into staying for a second and third we wobbled back to the motor home and had a relaxed night. The co-op shops just a short walk away, so we popped in for bacon supplies and carried on our journey back home to Devon. A cracking evening for a spontaneous Saturday evening.Next time we’re on the A303 heading home we’ll give the food a try. I’m sure it won’t disappoint. Thank you.

What a lovely pub. The Wiltshire Hog Pot was delicious and is highly recommended. The new owners are very kind and are amazing people. We wish them every success with the pub.

The new owners Colin and Sara are great hosts, quick and easy service, lunch was filling and affordable.Returned last night (Friday) for some ale, a great and pleasant atmosphere, busy and friendly.Everything a pub should be!

They had a range of Stonehenge ales, the food was excellent and a reasonable price. The atmosphere was lacking a little as the road outside was closed so they lacked a few customers. Otherwise, a great local

Please go to this friendly little pub. The Beer is very good and well kept and cheap!And although the menu was quite limited they had something for everyone it was really really good value home-made and very tasty. Nothing not to like about this friendly little local.We will definitely return when in the area.

Great village pub, bar staff and locals are all very friendly, beer is kept very well, and a great selection for a small pub. And a food menu coming soon, can't wait.
