Stopped by while driving from Leeds to London. We enjoyed the welcoming interior and appreciated the friendly staff. The patio looked like it would have been really nice as well in slightly warmer weather. Lunch was nice (we shared a steak and ale pie) and the sticky toffee pudding was delicious. There is a high speed charging station in the pub's lot (put us from 60-something to almost 100% while we had lunch).

My wife son and myself went for dinner we did plan to go to the harvester but got turned away due to staff shortages. All I can say it was a blessing in disguise. All of our meals were cooked to perfection and the lady we got served by was absolutely amazing. Definitely going to be going back again. And I’ve already told a number of people of our experience.

Initially the service was quite slow considering there weren't many people there but it improved and it was done so cheerily and efficiency it was a pleasure. Food was good and served at the same time ( all9 if us)

We came for a meal this evening, we were served by Dan, who was engaging, very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. And made our meal and evening out a very pleasant experience. He is a credit to your restaurant. Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely come back again.

Staff were really friendly and fun. The Halloween cocktail was so good. They had fun games to win free drinks, the DJ was good and interacted well with the customers. We ordered food, service was good and the food was very tasty. Great atmosphere and inclusive for all ages.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Attentive, friendly waiting staff, nothing was too much trouble. Delicious tasty food, steak was a little overdone and could do with a garlic butter option, but everyone enjoyed their meals and finished their plates!Thank you!

It was very busy, which I accept is usual for Friday evening, especially at this time of year, we had to wait quite a long time for our food. We had booked to sit in the bar area as we originally expected to bring my dog, sadly she was not able to be there, having has a serious operation. The bar food menus leave a lot to be desired.The childrens' menu is very limited and unimaginative. The adult menu is overpriced and short on choices for vegetarians. Two of us chose a meal served with flatbreads which were tough and almost impossible to cut or pull apart. The portions are small in relation to price and bulked up with large portions of carbs - rice, fries etc. As far as i can see the menu has not changed since the place was opened. Drinks are massively overpriced, especially the non- alcoholic cocktails.Despite using a voucher for 30% of mains, the bill came to almost £100. It was a meal out to celebrate a birthday and I came away very disappointed and I am unlikely to eat there again.
