Always visit this lovely little bakery if we visit Freeport Braintree. Good selection of seasonal pastries. The cranberry, brie and walnut was delicious.

Traditional pasty tasted okay but filling was mostly potato, not much meat. Not worth almost £5. My partner had the curried cauliflower one which tasted really good though.

Quite a few wasps which put me off but that can't be helped this time of year. However the two tables we looked at to sit were dirty. And they weren't cleaned by the time we left. Dog friendly

Great place to visit! Love the atmosphere and food. Went there with a friend and kids on our visit of the town.Our server Lukrecia (i hope i spelled it right )was very accommodating and helped us with choosing from the menu as well! We will definitely return .

Popped into the Cornish Bakery for a quick snack and drink while shopping at Freeport Braintree. We had traditional Cornish and coffees. The pasty was far too hot to eat but one cooled was nice.Staff were not rude but not friendly at all. No smile and seem to bag the food and throw it across the counter.We sat outside due to the dog. All the tables were wet so we need to wipe them down although it had not rained since the morning so expected the staff to have done this, considering what they are charging. Inside also seemed grubby like a deep clean was needed.Wouldn’t recommend or would visit again.

Our last visit, well you have people taking a seat BEFORE purchasing their food so had to wait with a tray of food, someone actually pushed past us to get the table we was going to sit at. Also we had to listen to a dog barking in the seating area, it was also jumping up at the table and LICKING the table. If it wasn't for the cream teas we would have left!!!
