No window curtain in bathroom. On my 2nd night i had no help with luggage despite no lifts at the place. Also i made several attempts to get ny tv to work and was fobbed off several times by the guy on the orher end of the phone...

Rude, dishonest, opportunist, money grabbing staff.I was left to sleep in my car when they refused to check me in on arrival, alleging that I was too late, and would not pay the late check in fee which there was no mention of on the booking page.This despite clear communication of my expected arrival time when booking and messages back and forth about parking facilities.Even sent me a message declining my check in time AFTER I had been turned away at the door, as if to cover themselves.I have screenshots of the time stamped message thread.I have no objection to paying a late check in/out fee, and have done so in the past, but only if clearly stated or prearranged.

Came to the hotel as a last minute thing was really happy with the service provided by what I assume the owner free wifi and Netflix that you can connect to which not many hotels have and for the price you can’t go wrong the only thing that was disappointing was a few lose hairs found in the room but other then that really good place to stay

Clean rooms and very friendly staff. The shared bathrooms were kept clean and tidy. Staying was cheaper than a taxi home and only a short walk from city centre. The bed was comfy and a snacky breakfast in the room was perfect for us to take on the drive home.

How this place can call themselves a hotel I will never know. I booked this place as a last minute thing as was in the area needed a place to stay. We left ten minuets after arrival and slept in car. Room was filthy, what looked like urine on one bed, and clearly blood on the other, everything was sticky, room smelt heavily of the food being cooked in the restaurant, extremely warm in room unable to even open windows because of the smell of food, plus the weights out of sliding windows has been cut out of them meaning window wouldn’t stay open anyway, it very noisy, the mattress was thin and pillows that were about 3cm’s thick walls so thin your neighbour would hear you pass gas, Bathroom was just as bad, and this was a Dulux room!!. No reception and was taken through the restaurant to gain access to our room after a lot of faffing because nobody knew what was going on we were given our key and pointed in the direction of our room. I’ve seen whilst writing this the “hotel” have responded saying a mobile number is given to guests to contact them if there are issues we were not provided with this. I’m curious to know what there fire safety policy is given their is no staff on site after the restaurant closes. This place needs to be shut down I’ve slept in slums in Africa in better condition than this place and I will be contacting booking. com to notify them how bad this place is.

I had called ahead to say I would be a little late. The guy who received my call (and subsequently let me in) was very helpful. I was going to give 4 stars, but my second night was disturbed by a lot of drilling that sounded like it was coming through the ensuite wall.

Small rooms. Even booked deluxe. No staff on hand. Kettle not working. Meant to be b&b breakfast is a basket in room no plates no spoons. Shower door doesn’t meet so floor get soaked and becomes dangerous. No plug in sink. Bathroom light on timer so get plunged into darkness. For the price we paid £140 for 2 nights it was disgraceful.
