Palmers Subaru

As an existing Subaru owner I received a letter to inform me a new dealer of this fascinating marque had opened in Hemel. Being a biker as well, I was aware of there being a Triumph motorcycle dealership down Pennine Way but had never been there. Upon a curiosity recce just two days after they had opened, I was initially surprised the motorcycle dealership had been ousted to house the Subaru dealership. However, from my knowledge of motorcycle dealers, if they are owned by car dealers, they rarely do well; the staff just don't have the correct mentally to deal with the more intense and ongoing requirements of bikers. So on that note, changing to another car marque is probably a good thing at this location.I took photos so to add this new business to Google Maps and had a chat with a member of staff (probably their Service Manager). I informed him that Subaru have probably the best customer satisfaction relationship on any car make, so they had better be aware of that and step up to the mark. Not sure how that will work for Palmers as a many marque trading site, I never having had any experience doing business with Palmers.Now the biggest problems I saw at this whole site, not just the Subaru bit, is what appears a complete lack of customer parking, either on their premises or on the road. Pennine Way is just plastered in double yellow lines. I can see no reason why, seeings its just a dead end road with no great traffic flow. I told the member of staff to lobby the council to get the lines removed, at least from the straight bit besides their entrance.Please LIKE if you have found this review helpful thank you

There is no substitute for the personal experience (in spite of the prevailing Covid constraints) and the transaction, including a fair part exchange price (for a different marque of car) was efficient and trouble free. Although I eventually bought from a dealer who had a car more suited to what I wanted, I want to commend your salesman Vlad. I was distance buying, and he was very pleasant to deal with and went the extra mile to describe and explain the car you had for sale, even sending me close up photos of different areas. Had I not seen the car I bought elsewhere, I would have bought yours. Vlad is a great ambassador for your company.

Vlad sold us our new Subaru Forester. When we went to look at the car originally Vlad was very helpful and knowledge able and was a big part of our decision to proceed. From there the whole process was very professional and the car was delivered on time. All in all, I am a happy customer.

I have bought dozens of new cars over the years including Range Rovers, Porsche and Mercedes. I can honestly say I have never had the pleasure of dealing with a salesman like Vlad. He was a joy to deal with. He was so knowledgeable about the product and responsive to questions and emails. I would 100% recommend him and Palmers (Hemel Hempstead) for the supply of a new car.
