Nanook Dogs Dog Training

Gee was great with our old rescue dog who was very nervous, growling and had trust issues. She was very patient with our dog, observed his behaviour and he warmed up to her really quickly. And they had long fun walks, our dog was so happy afterwards!It's great to have a dog service that has the knowledge and passion in working with rescue dogs. And good feedback how the day went, what works :)

Absolutely amazing training sessions. Restored my confidence and helped me get back to enjoying my time with my puppy. Really great, in depth sessions with a follow up session to help solidify the training in both my head and my puppy's! Great notes forwarded on after to remind me of everything we'd gone through and saw results as soon as that evening! Initially had one to one training at our home with Gee and Buffy for our new puppy followed by group puppy sessions as well. Both types of training were brilliant and they certainly seem to know what is going on inside a doggies head! They make training fun but explain how the dog is thinking as well which is really interesting. We are well set up now to implement all the training techniques at home but will be in touch with Gee and Buffy in the new year for more help as our pup continues to develop. If your dog needs any form of training then I would definitely recommend them with out question.

Gee is fantastic and has really helped me settle my rescue dog into the home. She has had first hand experience with rescue dogs and understands all the frustration, worry and difficulties both owners and dogs encounter. Taking everything in her stride, she quickly builds a relationship with your dog and works hard to find the best route to breaking through - all without judgement or making you feel useless!

We’ve been working with Buffy and Gee for a year now. They have helped us increase our confidence in supporting our wonderful 3 year old rescue dog Ollie to overcome his fears and anxiety. Initially we had one on one sessions, but we’ve now progressed to joining life skills workshops. This allows us to practice what we’ve learned with other dogs around. The girls are so patient, knowledgeable and lots of fun. We would 100% recommend Nanook Dogs.

Gee and Buffy worked with us and Rafferty to get Raff to enjoy his training. They and will identified what made Raff tick an his quirks and adapted each session to him. They also recognised that he got tired in the early sessions so made the beginning of the sessions more focused to what we were working towards.We have tips to help Raff with his reactivity and loose lead walking.Raff is more engaged with us on his walks and will now accept treats on his walks which has been down to the help of Gee and Buffy.The follow up emails and homework has been helpful, we can refer back to it any time and go back to basics when required.We have all come so far since we started the 1:1 sessions, lots to carry on with.We will definitely use Gee and Buffy again, whether that be the life skills sessions or puppy sessions for our new puppy.

My partner and I were very pleased with personalised and professional service from Gee and Buffy, who looked after our two dogs for a week. We were a bit apprehensive leaving our dogs, but they made us feel at ease and reassured us about how they look after them. They sent us updates, showing us the great walks they were going on and all of the treats they were eating, the dogs looked like they had so much fun! We felt a lot happier and can't thank them enough. We would definitely recommend Rambling Hounds

Buffy and Gee house sat and looked after our 2 dogs when we went on holiday and they were reliable and trustworthy. We have an anxious reactive dog and so it's always a bit worrying to leave her but she was so happy with them. They gave lots of updates which was really reassuring
