Best store in town and very coperative and helpful staff.

RUDE !!!!!!! Older woman behind the counter looks down her nose at people like they are something she stood on forgetting the customers keep her and her family watched her attitude and put the purchases back and left in disgust

DREADFUL!!Got followed around the store by the two female staff and made to feel very uncomfortable and intimidated. I only went in for a few bits n pieces. I put my my shopping back and walked out.I’ve been going in there for years and I’m always polite and friendly and a good customer.Now I’m being treated like a shoplifter!!I won’t be back and I’d recommend the place round the corner where the bank used to be.The staff there are lovely, welcoming and helpful. And it’s much cheaper.I’m honestly a quiet guy who doesn’t complain about stuff but my experience today was disgusting.These people should loose their franchise.

Very Disappointed . I visit this shop twice a week for my mum. I always get magazine and lottery ticket. Given current pandemic I always use contactless as that is the safest way and promoted by the Scottish Government.Saturday I was refused my normal purchase lottery and magazine as I had not spent enough to use my card. There was no sign to advise of this change. The owner was rude and could not give me a reason for the change. He knew I had received lottery and magazine before as he had served me on previous occasions. I left as had no cash but premier shop around the corner was happy to provide me with my purchases.The only conclusion that I can come to is the cash going through his till has reduced due to pandemic and this is a way to increase cash availability. Not good for store assistants and customers during this terrible time.I will not be visiting this store again.
