Riva Hair Design

Thank you Riva Hair Design and in particular Cat for an amazing cut and style last weekend. I was extremely nervous after having a bad experience with another salon, but shouldn't have worried. My cut and style was brilliant, Cat took her time to make sure I was completely happy. Everyone in the salon was professional and friendly. I would recommend this salon highly.

Went to Riva Hair today for the first time for balayage, for the first time. Sarah did an amazing job and consulted me throughout the whole process! I was so happy and when I arrived home my husband raved about my hair - the colour and the cut. A lovely little salon, unpretentious and just committed to doing amazing hair. Well done and thank you Sarah, I'll be back.

Went here just over a year ago and have not braved it to a hairdresser since.First of all my appointment was booked in for the wrong time ( apparently booked in on a phone so the line can sometimes be missed...).I had especially asked for someone who was experienced with curly hair before booking an appointment.Due to the initial time confusion my appointment was rearranged and I was offered a complimentary haircut, but unfortunately this was not booked in with the same person. Whilst the hairdresser I had was lovely, she was clearly very overwhelmed right from the start. The experience was painful (I won’t go into details) and even my partner couldn’t hide his amusement when he came to pick me up . I ended up having to sort my hair out myself at home after.Whilst this salon gets great reviews for many things and I hope my experience was a one off, I cannot recommend them for curly/ difficult hair and was not impressed with the organisation and errors made.

A lovely relaxed and friendly salon. I had full highlights, cut and blow dry recently by Abbie. I was absolutely thrilled with how my hair looked and so had no hesitation in booking my next appointment before I left! Thanks again Abbie

Today I had an excellent cut from Cat, the manager of this salon. When visiting somewhere, I am very cautious about having my haircut. I researched (on-line) many local salons and staff names and settled on this salon and Cat. She is an extremely good cutter and provided me with an excellent service, even though I was a visitor - which is often not the case. I would highly recommend her and the salon, and if I were to be around this way again, I would certainly return.

My daughter booked here using a first time customer voucher she found on their website for hi-lights and a cut and blow dry and she was really pleased with the end results. A thorough discussion took place prior to her hair being done as to what she wanted. She mentioned the salon being quite modern but the atmosphere was friendly and not pretentious as some salons she been to in the past. Tucked away in an alley way but easy to find from the instructions found online. Excellent value for money and she felt really pleased with the way her hair looked. Lovely natural looking hi-lights and not too much taken off the fringe. Needless to say she will be returning in 6-8 weeks to get her trimmed again and will certainly be recommending this hair salon to family and friends.

Recently moved to Wimborne and was looking for a hairdresser to try. I was very pleased with the salon and Grace that did my hair for me. She is knowledgeable about colour and style, had a full head of highlights, with two colours put through. Grace explained beforehand that there would be an extra surcharge for this and I was happy to pay the extra, has been a while since I had my highlights done. Very calming salon and lovely staff, have already booked another appointment.
