Badger Farm Community Centre

I played a Warhammer 40k tournament here over the weekend and it was a good facility, plenty of space, light and airy, I'm sure I'll be interested in attending another event. I remembered to sign my car in at reception so I avoided a fine - don't forget!!Otherwise, no problems, with Starbucks and Sainsbury's next door there is everything you could need very close at hand, plenty of parking close to the venue, an easy 5 stars.

Great place for kids birthday parties, with a variety of rooms of different sizes. We used the largest - the battery - which had ample room for 30 kids to run around, play games and have food. Large kitchen with plenty of space, crockery and cutlery, loos are very clean and there's a bar next door.

This is a community centre which has a hall that can be hired out for functions , a nursery , and a doctors surgery . Part of the premises is currently used for flu and covid vaccinations . This in turn is very well organised and efficient . The building is well utilised at all times with the surgery used to back up as required for other local doctors surgeries. The premises is very accesible and has free parking inside the Sainsburys site at Badgers Farm .

Plenty of room to sit or stand, good choice of drinks with reasonable prices. Recommended friendly place to hold events, or to go to events they always have a lot going on in the centre just need to check the website to see what's going on and when.

Went for Covid jab. Well organised, well staffed by pleasant people, no queues, out in 20 minutes. No ill effects. Lots of parking, shares Sainsburys car park.

Covid vaccine center ATM. Very efficient and rapid. Friendly staff and volunteers. We in the UK, are very fortunate to have these services, and the fantastic NHS staff and volunteers. Excellent stuff. And thank you.

This community centre is a lot of things to different people. Most of the revieuws seem to be related tothe social club, which is situated in the bar area and is a members only club running in the evening hours.Smoking is now not permitted anywhere inside but there is a smokers hut outside one of two gardens.The building is quite large with several good sized rooms used by various user groups during the day and evening.One of the biggest user groups is the Pre-school whom are there every day and use 2 rooms and theother ( smoke free )garden.There are also slimming clubs, excersice groups, self help groups, parent& toddler group,etc. The rooms are available for hire for children's parties or familie occasions ( ie weddings, christening's).For evening party's with an adult celebration no bookings are taken for 16th or 18th birthdays,for all others you can book the bar and also an adjacent hall/ room. I love our community centre havinggrown up in the area it has served me extremely well over the years. And as community centres go, thisone is on the posh scale of community buildings.

Had some amazing days and nights in BFSC, but now that's all ended. Such a shame that the club closed!

Very efficient & friendly vaccine site (...although, to be fair, I haven't been to any others!)2023 Update: smaller scale and moved back into the surgery, but still friendly, quick and easy.
