I popped here whilst driving through the area and was very impressed by their selection and ended up taking home some hearty sausages that the wife and I enjoyed with some mash and onion gravy. Look forward to going back and will certainly be partaking in some of their rib of beef come Christmas time

I visited the new shop for the first time this week and was highly impressed by the quality of the meats and the friendliness of the staff. The pies are absolutely delicious and it’s great to support independent businesses at this difficult time!

First time trying their meat and pies this weekend. Really good quality and fair price. Sausages, black sausages and bacon to die for- looking forward to eating the steaks and stir fry chicken as well! Will be coming back again.

New butchers. Remains to be seen on how good they actually are. I'm sure this is the same wholesale company that was selling cheap meat in nether poppleton. Unable to find website when attempting to order online. Disappointing. Will call in and try out, as I believe in trying out local businesses. However, I remain ambivalent, until proven otherwise.

Recently visited poppleton village butchers, both service and quality of the produce is 5 star. We can’t wait to try more of their meat, we certainly be purchasing from here going forward. We had the sausages, smoked bacon and black pudding this time and they were all the best we’ve had .
