Meridian Spa - Premium Greenwich Spa

I got a massage gift voucher and 3 months later the first lockdown happened. After that I went there and asked if it's still valid as it expired during the lockdown. They said that they extended the expiration date for 3 months. I booked my appointment but a week later it got cancelled by Meridian. I reschedule it but then on that day the second lockdown started. After the restrictions finally were lifted, I emailed them asking if I could still use the voucher (I couldn't find any information on the website). I got a very informative response from an individual named Alex that said: Thank you for your email but your voucher has expired". No explanation

DO NOT BOOK ANY HERE……day light robbery booked 2 treatments for Mother’s Day. My mother traveled all from Birmingham to spend the day with me. Unfortunately we were running late which I called to inform them about twice. The first time I called to inform themwe was running late they didn’t take any details as to what time my appointment was, my name or treatment but said not to worry they would pass it on. How I don’t know they would of done this as they didn’t take any details or my booking . So I called a second time and insisted they take my details and pass this on to the appropriate person . Long story short when we arrived there was only 15 mins left of my mother’s appointment, i explained I had called ahead to let them know we were running latefor one or our appointments, they informed the message had not been passed on I asked if it could be rescheduled for that day or a day convenient to them or be refunded and they refused, we asked to speak to management they refused and said there was no one available, but I insisted to speak to management so they magically found one and put me onto a phone with a so called manager whom was also just as unhelpful, unprofessional and did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue. I will be talking this to court if needs be to reclaim my £160 of which I received absolutely nothing for apart from a ruined Mother’s Day. Thank you MARIDIAN SPA GREENWICH for the most unprofessional service I have ever received in my lifetime. I repeat do no go here these people are con artists whom swindle money from people professionally.

Best massage ever!! Velnish was amazing and so professional. She focused on all the right spots! Truly magical hands! Highly recommended using the steam and sauna as well! Will be back again soon!

Very good value if booked a couple of days before. We live nearby so is perfect place for a massage. All of the staff have been excellent with us.

I had a message performed by very very sick member if a team. She should not be working with clients in that condition. Through entire massage she was coughing and sniffing, taking medication, literally in my face. Few days after I was sick too… very unpleasant and unprofessional, this says a lot about the business.

After reading reviews about meridian spa i was assured i will get a good service as i had a detailed conversation when making the booking. Wanted a massage and facial after discussing with imran on the phone about the specific facial i wanted and massage was a deep tissue we received the email conversation, however after 15/20 mins he called back saying he cant confirm the booking as it was for 2 people and requires a deposit we thought very unprofessional but anyway we payed half the money and additional for spa access. Asked about parking on site he said there was. We came to the meridian ‘premium spa’ no parking on site as we called the receptionist asking where the car park was located! Only street parking available!! Anyway went inside to see its a gym with a sauna very SMALL! And steam room very SMALL again! Sharing with all the people at the gym. Small access to a little door which says spa to go in to a cold cave! I bought it to light that its very cold i had seen the therapist walk in about 5 mins before my appointment shes told me to wait and she will call me. So the room wasn’t prepared when i say i was freezing it was cold however she was unprofessional she just said we have the heating on should be warm soon! Not even covering me with extra towels or cautious about needing to cover the leg or arm she just finished massaging her hands were freezing too! So the massage was done now for the facial she said shes only cleansing and toning because thats what the package is also she is a trainee and doesn't know how to do any other facials! I just said dont worry do your best not to worry just said i had paid for a specific facial she apologised. Came downstairs to get my husband as it was his turn they didn't have a couples massage available only back to back, which was a disappointment from the start anyway. The receptionist which was a male saw us and he was rushing to approach us saying we didnt pay the rest i said yes we will when my husband comes back in for his massage. As i walked off he says to my husband sorry you cant have your massage till you pay! I was holding in together till i was furious! He said there was no manager just him as i asked for a manager then somehow he managed get a manager on the phone from back office the manager was telling me to relax that his sorry that it didnt meet my expectations i said no its not about expectations its what i was sold and that i got a trainee therapist. He was unprofessional. I was disappointed as me and my husband had been planning this for a long time just to unwind. Never will i go there again its a small not even a spa place situated on top of a gym!

While the spa treatment was good, the facilities weren't. Because the building functions mainly as a gym, the steam and sauna rooms were really busy, there was no where to sit and properly relax. The whole building had a damp smell, and didn't feel very clean to be honest. When I raised this concern with the staff, I requested a partial refund due to the fact myself and my sister were not able to use the facilities. However, we were told this was not possible because of the fact I had purchased the Spa Day via their website (which didn't really make sense to me).I felt like it was very reasonable to request a refund for the difference in the cost of a Spa Day vs. the treatments and this was repeatedly refused. The staff weren't very helpful, and I was really disappointed that my feedback was not taken seriously. I discussed these issues with the Spa directly for many weeks, as I really didn't want to leave a bad review, but sadly there was no solution provided.The treatments were fine, but I definitely don't think the spa" is worth it at all.UPDATE: I am unable to reply to the response provided by the Spa. However I wanted to make clear that I was not offered this money back. I was offered to use the value of the difference in another treatment

So unprofessional. Couldn’t even answer if the massage therapists were HCPC registered. First said yes we are registered, don’t worry. And then when I was persistent in asking if the massage therapists are individually registered he didn’t know the answer and just left me off the hook, carried on with his own conversations and then came back and answered the call like he didnt know what was going on. Put me off from booking completely. Cherry on the top was that he terminated the call!

I had a massage here as I received a gift voucher for my birthday. During the massage I was in absolute agony (despite asking for less pressure several times) and the masseuse kept talking about her previous jobs that she had “absolutely hated” throughout the treatment which I found very unprofessional. When I got home I had bruises all down my arms and legs which were painful to touch. Very unpleasant experience.

Had an amazing massage. Pressure excellent. Good atmosphere. The key was the therapist was so damn good. Melted my tension away. Thank you!
