Happy House Chinese Takeaway

Used to avoid this Chinese before the new take over as food was greasy and could taste the old oil used, food is now 10/10, highly recommend.

Ordered a takeaway, came within time.stated, all piping hot.fortune cookies were a nice little touch. Chicken curry & egg fried rice were lovely

Still mid way through eating my food and had to pause to leave a well deserved review. Being a caterer, I rarely find good takeaways these days. But, after a good 10 minutes of being indecisive we thought to try something new with Happy House. Let's just say, I'm very impressed and will most definitely be returning for this dish again - chicken udon noodles with extra chillies!!Both my partner and daughter also think their dishes were superb. Can't fault the flavour or portions, but would suggest a better cuts of meat

Ordered takeaway for delivery. When it finally arrived , the food was cold. The chips were rock hard and tasted old. The rice had to be heated and the pancake roll was swimming in fat. Will not be ordering from there again.

When Sunnys closed for kitchen refurbishments I assumed it would reopen again as Sunnys... not the case, looks lovely on the outside but the food has changed completely and is subpar in my opinion. It's no longer the unique Chinese that Sunnys was, it's just the same as every other generic Chinese in town now. Chicken curry is poor quality (chicken was thin & gristly and now has mushrooms in it so very little meat and not nice chunks as it used to be) also chips are no longer the fresh chipshop style they used to be just the generic deep fried oven chips that everyone else uses now... just a huge disappointment for anyone who knew and loved Sunnys for the past 25+ years unfortunately.
