I have always used Specsavers previously but don't think I will be using them any more. The service from Asda Opticians was outstanding. From choosing my glasses to collection I was treated like a human not just a cash cow. They advised me well and the glasses that I received were far better than Specsavers. The lenses were a lot thinner even though it was the same prescription from Specsavers. The lenses were thinned to suit the glasses at no extra cost. I am more than happy with the overall service and would recommend Asda Opticians to anyone. Thank you Asda Wakefield Opticians.

I have had the best optician for years at Asda, Wakefield.Bobby referred me for laser eye surgery after finding a problem with narrow angles.I am totally confident with their service. They do extra thin lenses which I need with my eye problems. The prices are the best I have ever paid for new glasses. Highly recommend.

Had my eyes tested at the Wakefield store for the first time 10 days ago and picked up my 2 pairs of glasses today.All the staff I saw were helpful, professional and caring. One staff member gave me advice on the style of frame to choose which I really appreciated as I was on my own.I picked them up today and staff spent time with me making sure they fit correctly and the varifocal lenses were in the right place. They told me not to hesitate to go back if, after testing them out I felt they weren't right. I was impressed to learn that anti glare and anti scratch came as standard and I didn't pay extra for the varifocal lenses.All in all a positive experience.

Purchased some glasses from here and really couldn’t get in with them I felt sick and dizzy . Made an appointment to see the manager Kim who altered the nose clips and checked prescription and told me to call back after 2 weeks if they still weren’t ok . They still were not okay so called the manager and to cut a long story short had a new test with Hanan who was so lovely and thorough ! Kim then told me to choose a different shape frames like the ones I normally wear which I have now done ! I want to say a huge thanks to Kim as she was so so lovely and very helpful !!! The staff here are all so lovely ! You have a great team !!!! Thanks !!!! Mrs Richards

Staff are rude and obnoxious the manager is in much need of a customer service course with the way they address clients and then when you ask for the complaints process she said she was going to call for security and said it just comes to me anyway and laughed I would go to a more reputable opticians I have been to this one for years but I would never use again I have never been spoken to in this manner by anyone and wouldn't want anyone to have the same experience DISGUSTING! Absolutely discussing customer service! Dont go...if u want glasses that last more than 6 months!even with warranty they will not uphold there agreement in any way.... I did try to sort this out Chris...with the opticians team but told I would have to wait until the manager got back from hoilday to fix my glasses..and even then it would cost me even though they are still under warranty! so ended up going to another supplier who fixed my glasses for free.. even though I don't have an account with them !!!! Shows how bad Asda Wakefield team really is...

Arranged an eye test to renew my prescription so I could order new contacts, on the day they said I couldn't have the test as the lenses hadn't arrived although they had rang before to confirm my attendance, rearranged for this week, another half day off, still no lenses, waiting for a month now, not good service at all, the staff themselves are great but the service from the suppliers/makers is poor.

Don't even bother went for some glasses didn't even measure them to my face just took the old measurements from my previous glasses which had pretty much warped to a different shape at this point. Glasses were constantly falling of my face and they had this absurd coating on them which meant they would get dirty every 23 seconds forcing me to constantly clean them from just sitting down never would I ever use this as your opticians you would be better of learning braille than getting glasses here
