5pm on a Saturday, and there was a small queue. Ordered straightaway and given a collection number, but I only had to wait 5 minutes. Got home and thoroughly enjoyed my small cod and chips.

Gluten free fish & chips!! Such a treat to find a place that does them. They even had a GF vinegar option and clearly labeled my order. It’s the little things like this that make someone’s day who has a food allergy. The batter was so crispy and delicious. The non-GF orders in our party were also thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be back!

Lovely food, incredibly fresh. Nice people and clearly a local favourite. There can be a wait at busy times as it’s so popular but it’s well managed, and people just mingle outside and chat which is lovely. It is possible to pre order by calling, and would recommend this if working to time constraints

Chips were warm and definitely not freshly cooked. Alot of spiky bits. Guess the time to get the best is when there are people queueing to be served as I have previously.

Got some lunch here. The price was OK, but the portion size of a medium cod was more like a small. But tasted nice. There used to be a restaurant next door but has not been used for some time. It looks like a junk room with all kinds of things piled in there. There were 2 people that took my order and then just sat there in quite a while on their phones. No chit chat, no smiles. But like I said, the food was nice. Oh, and there is no delivery. It's a shame I would have used it a bit more. If you want a big lunch with a smaller price I would say get the small fish and a kids battery sausage meal deal as it comes with chips the sausage and a drink the sausage alone is £2.20 and the meal deal is £.4.50 more then enough.

What a find! In a back Street and busy with locals is always a good sign. Not over - priced, superb chips and lovely fish. Sea front where you can park and eat just around the corner. A proper chip shop.

The food is lovely here. Unfortunately, we visited on a very busy day which meant that we had to wait 15 minutes to get served and then 35 minutes to get our food. However, people were just chatting to each other outside whilst they waited.

Really good fish and chips! Cooked perfectly in a lovely, crispy batter. I had cod which was nice and flaky & my Mum had her favourite - plaice. Both were cooked to order. Definitely recommend!
