Myself and 4 others went to the Marlborough yesterday and I was disappointed by the experience. We had friends visiting so I had booked the pub in advance. I also called beforehand to confirm how long we would have the table (I was assured on the phone it would be 2 hours).Unfortunately, when we arrived we were told that the table was only available for 1 hour and then we would have to move. Although our waitress was lovely, we all felt rushed and unable to relax. Almost immediately after we had finished our mains we were moved for coffees and dessert. As aforementioned, our waitress was lovely and we were all grateful for her fantastic service, but unfortunately due to the desire to have short bookings, we left disappointed, especially considering the price. The experience was very upsetting, particularly when we had friends visiting who we wanted to enjoy the experience.

I really enjoy visiting this place. It was the perfect Sunday Roast for a perfect Sunday in Richmond! 100% recommend. My friends had non-vegetarian options and LOVED them. I had the vegetarian option, which could have been better. The plate overall was not as savoury as one expects in a Roast. But it is worth highlighting the gratin leeks; they were insanely good. Had the crumble, so good! It left me wanting more desserts from them!

Great local pub with lovely garden (would be really nice in the summer!). We all enjoyed our food and they are tasty.I recommend lamb ribs, they did a good job.Pork roast is massive and love the roasted potatoes that come with it. It also has proper Yorkshire pudding with a good mix of vegsOrdered chips as a side, it’s nice but a bit expensive (£4.5) for the size of it

Our first Christmas lunch with our new dog and we were thoroughly well looked after by the kind and generous staff, especially the Manager Martin who made sure she didn’t miss out and provided a lunch just for her! Very doggy friendly, great roasts, lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Visited specifically for a Sunday roast and it was well done, presented and delicious. One chicken, one beef. We favored the chicken best.A lot of ambiance here as well. Staff was attentive, friendly and it made for a great experience as American tourists. It’s a bit off the tourist path and, if walking, it’s a long, gradual climb up a slope. But, it’s away from the hectic crowds. The nearby park was an added pleasure.

Quick visit to Richmond and booked for Sunday Lunch at The Marlborough. Staff very friendly, clean and tidy, fairly busy for a bank holiday weekend. The pork belly was fantastic as well as the accompanying veg. Yorkshire ever so slightly overdone but didn't detract from the meal at all. Can't wait to visit again soon :)

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with some neighbours at The Marlborough. Its a large pub with various areas including dining rooms and cosy snugs. The garden is large and looks a great place to hang out in the summer. I tried the vegan roast which was great. Others had fish and chips and the beef. The starters were okay. I suggest going for the mains and a pud. I recommend you book a table because it got busy. It's close to Richmond Park so you can walk off the dinner after!!

Great food, the focaccia was lovely. Disappointed by the setup and service. No hot drinks through the app so I went to order at the bar. 20 min later no coffee or tea. I've had to go into the kitchen to check and no order was found. I've informed them what my order was and they've brought 2 x coffees. We kept the one we did not order instead of the tea as this took 40 min to arrive.

Stunning and a great place to meet up with friends for a catch up, have a few drinks and definitely be merry. Atmosphere was welcoming, warm and just has this vibe that's just inviting. Staff are lovely too. I didn't have food when I visited but what I saw and smelt, it makes me certainly look forward to trying the culinary delights on my next visit.
