Nice to sit in the warm. Free WiFi available and plugs if you need to charge. Asked for mayonnaise and was told it’s ‘at the back’ rather than having it brought over to me. The portion of chips was minuscule wouldn’t have satisfied a five year old let alone me. Ladies toilets were poor. Toilet seat hanging off and a dirty toilet brush to look at whilst you hovered over the pan. Bit of a shame and a long way from the beefeaters I remember.

Unlimited breakfast for £9.50! That includes hot drinks and squash.There is free car parking outside with plenty of spaces.The restaurant is split over 2 floors but we have only eaten downstairs. There is a buffet spread with the continental breakfast. Once seated your order is taken for the cooked breakfast.There is a wide range of food on offer. We have tried both the scrambled and fried eggs. The scrambled eggs were either powdered or done in the microwave, either way, they were not great.Love the sausages and smoked bacon. They are generous with the baked beans which is a relief.Definitely reccomend for a lazy Sunday. Kids eat free bonus. Hit or miss with staff. Some are brilliant. Probably best to book a table. We never have but are always asked if we have and normally get some grumblings.

For the price its decent value and the food is okay considering the price. It badly needs painting and new furniture as it looks tired and dirty. We went for an all you can eat breakfast till 11. Couldnt order more hot food as chef had left at 10:45. Continental breakfast wasnt being restocked, no bowls, plates, coffee cups, coffee machine stopped working and no staff to be seen.

Staff unfriendly, table left with plates for hour and half even though the staff walked past our table lots of times, ordered tea and coffee and was told to collect from the bar ??.Toilets dirty and no toilet roll told manager politely that neither of the ladies had toilet roll , he looked at me as if I had two head and said right" as if I was pitting him out.When guests arrived

My second visit in a few short weeks, again, I was not disappointed! Great value and a really tasty roastie! Waitress was lovely, thank you Anna! She recommended the cauliflower cheese side dish.. And so do I!

Come in only to be told that the systems in the bar don't work. OK, fine-i get that. But customers in the restaurant still getting served with drinks. When asked if we could get served in the restaurant-we were told no, but with appalling attitude from some staff members. As a manager myself, if half my establishment was working, I'd ensure that the bar customers were served either individually or in twos-just to keep my customers happy. Which would be my priority. In all honesty, I love this pub and have done for 30 years, and it's only out of loyalty and the wish to see it continue to trade that I come here.

Unfortunately not a lot of pictures as my phone died on arrival but if you have been to a beefeater before, you know what most of the meals look like.My son choose The Fountain for his birthday lunch so we had a booking for 12. Seating was great and well as the service. It gets extremely busy on the weekends but somehow the waitresses are able to stay on top of it.A bar upstairs is the only thing missing for the busy weekends

OK food but excessive wait times as Beefeater hasn't invested in its staff and thinks 1 server taking orders, distributing food and taking payment is sufficient. A Sunday lunch meal for 4 took 3 hours with items already sold out for the day. Whilst the server was great, having only 1 person on a busy dozen plus tables was not a great experience and I have no intention to return and repeat this experience

Anna, you are the reason why we have come back, honestly your service is incredible along with your attention to detail and speedy service, we have come here twice now grated we don’t live in the area but when you find a decent restaurant traveling a bit further really doesn’t matter. Squid and streaks 10/10 for an incredible price to pay to leave on a full stomach, and leaving happy may I add, first visit was a positive and second even better! Love this place!

We go here regularly. Food is good value.Service is great. We always have Abigail serve us. She is very helpful, friendly and polite. She makes our visit so much more enjoyable. Well done!!
