The Knights of Middle England

I can't praise the Knights of Middle England enough. This is such a wonderful company of horsemen and horsewomen who keep history alive. These amazing guys performed a joust at my wedding in Hedingham Castle earlier this year which was a once in a lifetime experience. It snowed that day so conditions couldn't have been worse but they put on an amazing show which people are still talking about months later. Eternally grateful for the memories.As a horse lover, I decided to try my hand at jousting and recently did a Jousting Experience Day in Warwick. I had the best time! Everyone is really knowledgeable and friendly. The horses are well looked after and their welfare is paramount. I had such a great time on the experience that I have decided to come back for jousting lessons in future.

I had a fabulous side saddle lesson here, Tanya was a brilliant instructor and was very encouraging, especially as it was my first time trying side saddle. Would highly recommend, and hope to return to try it again!

Fantastic day with Jousting, sword fighting and archery. Have never ridden a horse before but within an hour I had done walk, trot and an accidental canter! Really good day out with some excellent and engaging crew :) would highly recommend!

Had an exceptional time here this weekend for a stag party. The team were fun, friendly, and made all of us feel comfortable with all of the activities we took part in (jousting, swordfighting, archery). Absolutely loved it here. Cannot express how much I enjoyed hanging with all of the team we met that day. Lovely people ❤️

Had my first group horseback archery lesson this afternoon and it was brilliant. The horses all clearly knew their job and I felt safe and comfortable. Our instructor was lovely, moved at a good pace for my ability level and was really kind and encouraging. A great experience at a really fair price, already looking into what to come and try next!

I met the team at Horse of the Year Show and was excited to say hi after seeing the ads on facebook. I knew I wanted to give it a go but after meeting the fabulous team and having a good chat with the lovely Will I knew I had to book. I am super excited about having my first ride with them. The customer service I received after their long days locked in the NEC proved to me that these guys really care, will put the people and horses before the £cash and genuinely want you to get excited about their riding as they are! I CANNOT WAIT! Thanks Will you rock!

Amazing day, wish I’d done it years ago. Crew were amazing, fun and knowledgeable. The horses are well mannered and beautifully trained. As an regular rider, I was challenged and didn’t feel held back by less experienced/non riders in the group, which just goes to show how brilliant the crew were at managing the day. Thank you so much, I will be back for sure. HAZZAR!

The Knights of Middle England are AMAZING. I mean, truly amazing. The acting is fantastic. The costumes look incredible. And the whole show is like you’re in an immersive programme.The skill that they have on horseback is ridiculous. Honestly, there are not enough superlatives to describe how good they are.You've got to watch these guys and girls in action at least once. You won’t be disappointed!

We have been twice now so our son can take jousting lessons. The staff are fantastic, and the activities are lots of fun. If I could ride I'd have a go myself.

Did my first archery lesson with a friend. Never forced a bow and arrow before and was cantering and firing by the end of the lesson. Such great fun, would definitely recommend. Will be back to have a go at jousting!
