Weddings and Camping at Dan's Meadow

This site ranks amongst our all time favourites. Starting with the friendly, welcoming manager who could not be more helpful.The site and facilities are spotless. The pitches are flat and spacious. The host of this site is clearly very conscientious, demonstated by great attention to detail. This is an excellent base for lots of great locations such as Sutton Hoo and other sites of interest along the Suffolk coast.

Dan's Meadow was the perfect place for us to have our wedding. We had our ceremony and celebration at the venue and it couldn't have been more us". Compared to other venues we looked at this one was much more reasonable and having sole access to the site for the whole weekend meant we could really make the most of our wedding.Andrew and his family went above and beyond to make our day as special as possible

We hired the hall for a private party. It was an easy process and a reasonable rate. Lighting was provided for ambience and the facilities clean and well stocked.Due to its location there was plenty of parking, a lovely outside seating area and room for children to play.We had a band playing during the evening with a requested 11pm quiet time which suited the party well Some guests camped overas they had travelled in to the area from further afield and complemented the camping facilities also.5 stars very happy.

We are so happy to be back at Dan’s Meadow. Really friendly and helpful staff. Facilities are excellent. A perfect hidden gem in the Suffolk countryside. Looking forward to coming again.

Hidden gem on outskirts of Woodbridge, great facilties especially the heated toilet and showers much appreciated when staying in February and getting up to frost on the grass. Lots of footpaths and walks close by and very close to the Fynn Valley walk through lovely countryside, we walked to Tuddenham St Martin for lunch at the Fountain. Walk into Woodbridge along the Deben was great too Good fish and chip shop 1/2 mile from site. Definitely be going back.

This was the perfect venue for a relaxed, low stress boho wedding. The facilities are really good, the indoor areas are bright, clean and well maintained but it's the outdoors that really made the day special. The riverside ceremony was beautiful and sitting out on the patio by the firepit was a lovely end to the day. The team running the site are so friendly and helpful. Such a difference from places where just using the word wedding adds a couple of zeros to the bill. We had exclusive use of the site Friday-Sunday so had plenty of time to decorate and clean up afterwards and no restricted list of caterers/entertainment, great for the budget and for having all the personal touches.

Thank you to everyone at Dan's Meadow for making our wedding day so special. The location is magical with the river fynn running through it amazing wooded area and loads of places to have great pictures. Camping and caravaning facilities are kept at a high standard The owners and staff are amazing so helpful, kind, and supporting, nothing was to much trouble. Would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a great venue to have a wedding, party or any other occasion.
