The Point at Polzeath

Played golf and got a special price as the greens had been dressed which was good as a lot of courses don't do this. Played quite a few times here. It's a 15 mins drive from Wadebridge. Clubhouse does good food but not everyday so check first. Course is fine no big challenges so not daunting. Pity you don't really get coastal views.

Popped in for a drink on the off chance. Staff are friendly, and dogs are allowed outside.

Went for a haircut and then grabbed lunch in the bar.Great food and location with excellent facilities for golf, tennis, swimming and padel.

Only played golf and then afterwards had a tea and ham sandwich. Good golf course, changing areas, shower and toilets very good. Restaurant well furnished with a lovely view across the golf course to the sea. Good variety of food and drinks our ham sandwich with pickle was very tasty.

I often use the gym facilities here. Today I came in, paid for my session and noticed there was a coffee machine in the reception area- I’ve not noticed it before. Keen for an energy boost, I poured an expresso. Was about the leave when the girl at attending the gym reception stopped me to say I need to pay. She pointed to a print on the wall, among other prints on that wall, listing the coffee prices.Full of embarrassment I had to put the coffee back on the table and left.Good customer service would’ve been to allow me to have that coffee instead of binning it- I would’ve probably had more in future (obviously paid for)That’s such a shame that your staff doesn’t have basic customer service.

I had Sunday lunch at The Point for the first time Easter Sunday. I have a garlic allergy and they were really helpful and caring about it. I can't fault them- I had a delicious meal. Will definitely be returning. Thank you The Point.

nice quiet get-away pool, jacuzzi, steam room and a sauna, plus nice staff
