I needed to find somewhere to shorten the sleeves on a new leather jacket. So many shops said they don't touch leather but Star Stitch do - and a superb job they did too. I am a bit curvy so getting clothes to fit correctly can be a challenge but now I will trust Star Stitch to do these alterations and the price was more than reasonable too. Thank you.

Worked wonders remodelling an entire 3 piece linen suit I required done inside 10 days. He knew exactly how I wanted the fit to be done and the work was of outstanding quality - and it was done ahead of schedule!I couldn’t fault the service or the standard of work. I got my Bridesmaids dresses altered here and was very last minute with the timings. The staff were extremely friendly and took their time in getting the measurements correct.I had one dress taken up and one dress was taken in, taken up, the straps were adjusted as well as an applique added and they were both finished within 1 week!You can't tell the dresses have been altered as the stitching is pristine. I will definitely be coming here again if I ever need anything else altering.Highly recommend!

Took a navy padded coat in to have the sleeves shortened, such a professional job I couldn't tell they had been altered, lovely people and great service, will definitely use again

I got my bridesmaids dress altered here. The staff were so friendly and made sure the measurements were perfect. It was beautifully sewn and fits like a glove now. It was even ready earlier than advised. On top of all that, the price was very very reasonable! I will go back everytime I need anything altering.

Needed a formal two piece shortening , taking in and a strap repairing as it came damaged. The staff were lovely and have done an amazing job. Couldn’t be happier and I will definitely be returning with any future alterations needed ! Thank you ❤️
