I decided to get my building survey done by Keystone because of Jamal Parara who called me personally after I made the initial enquiry. He explained to me in detail what the survey would entail and also emailed me a sample survey report I requested and also the price quoted was quite fair. I was also happy that I received the survey report on the same day it was carried out. The report was very detailed with photographs. There were some things in there which I didn't understand so I called Jamal who explained everything clearly.I would highly recommend Keystone Chartered Surveyors.

Keystone provided us with a good service. The report was very thorough, felt like no stones were left unturned. We also asked for a partition wall survey but this wasn't really worthwhile. Overall very satisfied though.

Really good service. I wasn't sure about using a local firm to begin with but I was amazed. Found out they'e chartered which eased my nerves. They were professional from the beginning and provided a detailed survey faster than I expected at a reasonable cost. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my mother.

This is the second time I have used Keystone Chartered Surveyors and they have provided an excellent service yet again.

Having decided to go with the full building survey (oppose to just the home buyer report) and paying more than average on top in the hope we would receive a more detailed, thoroughly checked and accurate report on the potential purchase of our house I have come away from the experience disappointed paying over the odds to use Keystone's services. I now know building surveyors are apparently known to perhaps exaggerate and perhaps include all faults no matter how small to cover themselves but some of the claims made here ought to have warranted further thought or observation.The inclusion of a table to summarise the 'issues' were useful as were the photos to clarify however, some of the 'issues' pointed out were non-existent causing unnecessary concern. For example, stating movement noted in the walls due to what appeared to look like a crease between ceiling and wall papers naturally caused alarm bells to ring and should have been further investigated by Jamal like peeling back the paper to ensure. When we steamed the paper off it seemed like the paper was simply old as there was no crack or slip to the wall beneath. Damp marks were noted on a chimney breast but these weren't damp marks at all. An unsupported ceiling due to an opening in the wall causing a door to warp upstairs were not true, we had several different builders in to get their view who presented more logical arguments.On the flipside some of Keystone's findings were fair and well observed but on the whole I would be inclined to use a different surveyor to Jamal next time.

Keystone Chartered Surveyors provides efficient service and professional advice upon my building survey request. The surveyor is helpful and adjusted his schedule to meet the time constraint of the client. I recommend that their service is good.
