Peake’s Retreats

It's a lovely get away but way too pricey for what you get. 5 of us have gone to this place and shared a yurt together,which is what we expected,but the owners literally just tried to fit as many beds as they could, it was very cramped and we were practically on top of is each other. Surprisingly the the room could hold 6,another person would have meant no space for the table. The yurt was initially nice and warm from the fire but when it came to night it was way too cold,and no additional resources were provided to make more fire.The hot tub was great at the start ,but again it was heated by logs (which is fine and cute),but after half an hour it got really cold. There wasn't anyone to ask for more logs or resources to make the hot tub work for a bit longer, which meant we spent the rest of the evening in the yurt,entertaining ourselves.The toilets and showers were very far,which I can understand why but in the designated shower,there wasn't any hand towels or even a mat on the floor to safely get out from the shower, one of us almost fell. We actually had to take some hand towels from the other bathrooms .Breakfast was great,local products but the only thing that put is off was that the owners cats were all over the kitchen,on the utensils,table, pots and pans,yet our dogs on the lead was not allowed in the outdoor kitchen.We each paid £60 plus £30 for the 2 dogs

Me and my partner stayed here for a treat for his birthday. Wow, it was so relaxing and peaceful . The loft is an amazing get away with a fabulous hot tub. We had the morning breakfast hamper included too which was great! Anything I needed Sarah was just a text away and responded quickly. Left feeling so relaxed and great deffo recommend! Xx

Absolutely excellent & thoroughly recommend.Booked for a last minute work trip & was blown away by the accommodation & Sarah’s hospitality. Will try & revisit for a chilled out break in the future!

The most accommodating and thoughtful stay we've had. We had a 3 month old baby and Sarah went above and beyond for us, she set up a bottle steriliser, a baby bath and the little touches that were perfect in putting our minds at ease with our baby. We stayed for three nights and it was so peaceful and gorgeous, the perfect break we needed. I honestly can't find one single fault with our stay, everything was there from the final touches in the yurts to the entire experience. It was our first break away as a family since having our baby and Sarah made it so special and memorable we will definitely be returning! The fresh breakfast was delicious and I have never seen such beautiful and well equipped bathrooms for a camping experience. Upon arrival we were offered a glass of bubbly and anything we needed sarah was to hand, i wouldve been happy just being in the yurts and on the lushious greenery all day as it was the definition of serenity so the hot tub was an added bonus! Every detail was intricately thought out and added to the stay, it felt like home away from home and I cannot wait to return.

Everything was good as it should be. Very clean. The villa has a great location, just 10 minutes away from a beautiful beach. A beautiful and clean pool. And, above all, very nice owners who are always reachable and helpful.

We stayed in Milnes Corner - absolutely amazing. The yurt was spacious, beautiful, comfy, warm just awesome. The hot tub was so relaxing, we just didn’t want to get out at all. The showers and bathrooms were immaculate and the hand and shower wash provided was gorgeous. The owner, Sarah was so kind and accommodating. Can’t recommend enough and we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Peake’s Retreats. Our yurt was comfortable and spacious and they have thought of everything you might need, with lots of nice touches. The shower rooms are immaculate and it is great to have individual ones for each yurt. The site itself is nicely laid out and our children (7 and 4) had an excellent time playing on the climbing frame and with the many toys in the shed. There is heaps to do nearby, so we will be back next time we visit the Peaks.

I've been glamping once before in the lakes, but this was next level. A spacious 6ft diameter yurt thats really well furnished and has everything you'd need, from candles to kindling and firewood for the log burner. We even had a massage in the yurt on the day we arrived!The hot tub was perfect for jumping in on a cold Sunday morning, watching the sun rise in 40 degree water!The facilities are also great, with modern shower rooms and a cooking cabin where we cooked breakfast (a breakfast hamper was included for our first morning) There's also a bbq cabin where you can make your own fire to cook food.I'd recommend Peaks Retreats to anyone who's looking for a comfortable getaway. Hats off to Sarah, professional, friendly and a great host.

Had a fantastic week at the villa in Northern Cyprus. Excellent facilities including private pool which was very welcome even in September heat. Definitely need a car to access shops and restaurants. Very peaceful and relaxing environment. Will definitely consider returning to the villa.
