Found the Waggon on our way out from a day at Harwich. It was just what we needed.A friendly landlord servicing good beer and a choice of two pool tables to play on.Brilliant local friendly service with a smile.Will definitely come back!

Visited with friends to watch a band. Friendly staff and some excellent ale choices. At the time of visiting this included Tribute one of my favourites and it was only £3.70 a pint!

Went looking for an 'out of the way' Real old school feel that you really don't find anymore pub and this place didn't disappoint. It's got a lovely dated feel to it which has a somewhat nostalgic edge. Pleasant bar staff which were more than happy to help.

Lovely little boozer which always has some good draft ales on tap. I usually go in the afternoon when it's very quiet but there's usually a few locals milling about and popping in and it seems to be a real community asset.The roads round there are lovely to cycle too in good weather. Even after a couple of ales.

Unpretentious English pub. Juke box, pool table, well kept beer and friendly bar staff. Live music on a Saturday. Places like this are a rare find these days in an age where most pubs are turning into restaurants.

We visited this lovely local boozer when visiting friends in Wix. They serve well kept real ales, including local options from Essex and Suffolk. Dog friendly, and live music some evenings - happy days.

I visit The Waggon on Fridays with friends and we play pool. The Waggon is a village pub, no frills but the drinks are a fair price. They have a different band every Saturday night at the place has a great atmosphere.

Great traditional pub, live music on regular basis, fantastic!! A bit cold when you first walk in, could do with a bit of heating. Overall great pub!!
