Spanhoe Lodge

A very nice room with excellent shower and facilities.Only downside is noisy fridge and noise travels though adjoining doors but neither will stop us returning and probably a bonus to some.Breakfast was faultless and highly recommended.Staff very friendly and attentive.Great location for exploring the countryside.

Awesome place, great location, really quiet and enclosed, very friendly owners, great food, pool, well, everything really, can not fault a thing!

Husband and I came for afternoon tea and it was the nicest I've had and I've had quite a few. Everything was fresh and the cake selection was lovely. The host was extremely pleasant especially when I told him I'd forgotten to bring my voucher and he was happy to let us have our tea on the understanding I rang it through later. Highly recommend it. Beautiful views and some red kites too.

Had a great visit. Superb location. Rooms are comfortable. Dog friendly. Lovely pool. Food was excellent and the staff cannot be praised enough. Friendly, helpful and very accommodating. This is our fourth visit.

Great place to relax and enjoy with your family and friends, they have a heated outdoor pool and hottub. The staff are so helpful you can't help but feel put at ease

We booked an afternoon tea there and it was superb. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The teapot was huge and we drank all of it. Another was pot was supplied no trouble. Lovely setting, highly recommended. Sandwiches and cakes were lovely.

Somewhere we’ve stayed before and can’t fault it. 4 of us stayed in 2 rooms. We bought our dog with us, very dog friendly. He was allowed in reception area and games room when playing snooker.Hot tub was a lovely treat, we were the only ones staying and even though it was a cold Jan night, owners were still happy to heat and open the hot tub up for us.Breakfast was delicious and comfortable night sleep, lots of nice touches in the room. Bathrooms looks as though it’s been redone since last visiting a few years ago - heated flooring was a treat :)Added bonus of seeing the wonderful Christmas lights.Thanks!

Fabulous weekend stay at Spanhoe Lodge. Every detail attended to, friendly staff, fab service, great location, newer updated ensuites than some photos online, real luxury feel. Thank you, we'll definitely be back!!
