Fantastic buying experience from start to finish! Super polite and Informative from the very first phone call. Invited me to the showroom to discuss options given the size of my chimney breast and designs available. They even loaded the fire into my car for me! My fitting is booked for 1 weeks time and I cannot wait! Whole buying experience has been a pleasure and I will recommend them to everyone who wants a fire after seeing my new one installed!!

This is a really good company to deal with. We had two hole in the wall gas fires from them. Mohommad in the shop was really knowledgeable and helped us choose the right fires. He was not pushy at all, just pleasant and very professional. They got us a good price on the fires and delivered them in the time scale they said. They also arranged a fitter for us. The fitter, also called Mohommad, was very experienced, quick and very professional. To he honest the fires look a lot better than I expected them to. We are really pleased.

Bought a fireplace a few years ago and had a brilliant experience with Mohammed. Friendly and professional, happy to let us browse and ask questions at our own pace and when we were ready to discuss in more detail he knew everything about their stock off hand.Fast forward a few years and I needed replacement parts after a DIY mishap and was struggling to find them. I emailed York Fires and Mohammed replied quickly with the retailer who sells the fires and their contact details, along with the company (and contact details) of the retailer's spares company. a couple of calls later and my parts were in the post.I wanted to leave a review to say than you for the outstanding customer service; with no sale on the line Mohammed still went out of his way to be helpful. If anyone ever mentions needing a new fire of any kind, I know who I'll be recommending.

Everything about the customer service was amazing from start to finish. Mohammed is full of knowledge and advice and was so incredibly helpful - he spent as much time as we wanted explaining all our different options, showing us all the features of different fires and ensuring we got the best deal. We were contacted during every stage of delivery and we are so happy with our electric log burner. Highly recommend - do not go anywhere else for your fire!

Having already browsed in a couple of shops when we were looking to buy a gas fire and surround, we stumbled across York Fireplace on-line. On visiting the store, my husband and I were greeted by Mohammed who came across as really genuine, friendly, knowledgeable and not at all pushy unlike some sales people. He listened to what we had in mind and gave us all the information we needed. He suggested we come back once we'd had a chance to think about all the options we'd talked about with him rather than making a rash decision. We felt that Mohammed had given us what I would say is good old fashioned customer service which we would all love to get but rarely do these days. Needless to say, we went back the following week and placed our order for our new fire and surround. I would highly recommend York Fireplaces and it's staff for the place to get excellent customer service, good prices and fantastic aftercare.

We had two fires supplied and fitted from this company and their service has been excellent. We had a double sided tunnel fire fitted and it looks stunning in our open plan living area. The guys in the shop were helpful and provided a fitter for the fires. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Highly recommend this company as the whole process was seamless end to end. Had a fantastic experience with Mohammed in the showroom where he couldn't have been more attentive and patient.
