When we arrived there was a very big queue of people but this went down very quickly - well done to the staff as not many establishment manage to achieve this. The lady at the bookings desk was very polite, understanding and accommodating, as our party of 5 was reduced to 3 due to illness. Our table was cleared and ready for us within 5 minutes. The bar staff were extremely funny and engaged with us really well, really good banta. The chef was cheerful, very polite and again accommodating the carvery was as usual out of this world, everything cooked to perfection. If I had to add a very small grumble it would be that we had to ask for the condiments to be refilled they were refilled with an apology for not having any cranberry sauce and an apology for having to wait even though it was only a could of minutes but as I say it’s a very very tiny grumble that didn’t affect our dining experience.Again wonderful staff, easy online booking, food cooked to perfection, upbeat, happy, staff that couldn’t do enough for not only us but for all their customers. A wonderful family atmosphere with staff that love the job they are doing.Well done and thank you to everyone!Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year to you all!!

Booked a table for 4 at 1 pm. The place was really busy but staff & manager were really friendly. Carvery was delicious and also fresh, plus trifle cheesecake was lovely. We rounded off with coffees & tea, & didn’t feel rushed by anyone. It was a lovely experience & look forward to our next visit

This restaurant is nice, very family oriented. Plenty of parking and a mix of tables for dining, just for drinks and pool.The menu is extensive, so something for everyone. There is also a carvery available each day.The food was nice apart from the chicken burger. It was served in what could only be described as a dog bowl, the breadcake wasn't very nice and fries were overcooked.The mac n cheese was nice and the selection of desserts okay.

Very polite and welcoming staff. We had the carvery, very good food, maybe need a little more veg options. Good selection of meats. Lovely Xmas decorations. A little pricey to other carvery places been to and hadn't realised the extra £3 charge just for a Sunday, can't see why you need to charged extra on this day. Will go back though.

Been a while since I last visited Winter Green, but pleasantly surprised there is now a Gluten free menu. I had the carvery, the servers knew what I could and could not have, very knowledgeable about the contents of the foods.Very enjoyable, lovely place to dine, gets fairly busy. Staff are attentive and friendly.

I brought a lunch club for a Christmas lunch, we have been before and the members requested another visit.The staff are very friendly and catered to our needs amazingly. The food as always was delicious, and games were organised by the staff. Excellent service.

Booked a 70th birthday meal for my wife. We all had a great time. The food was excellent from the carvery to mixed grill. What a fantastic eatery. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Will definitely go again.
