Old Hay Barn - Luxury Holiday Cottage

Beautiful location, stunning views and a luxury barn with hot tub to enjoy it from!! Fantastic!

Amazing location, beautiful scenery . Everything that was needed was there. Hosts were at hand to help and they kindly let us feed the alpacas too

Fabulous stay here for our wedding weekend. The location is beautiful, great views out over all the animals and very relaxing. The barn is very clean and the owners left lovely little touches to make us welcome. The hot tub was lovely and was cleaned daily which was reassuring. Perfect for our 2 dogs aswell and loved the dog room- need one everywhere we go! Would 100% stay again x

This was a nostalgic trip with our adult daughters & their families to the area where they grew up. The Barn was ideally placed, it was peaceful surrounded by beautiful countryside but Holmfirth was easily accessible. The Barn was well equipped & comfortable. There were lots of treats provided as well as basic essentials. Even the dogs had their treats. As it was October we did not make use of the outside bbq & seating areas but they would be great in the summer. A great time was had by all. Thankyou Amanda & Darren

Me and a group of friends stayed here for the weekend. Absolutely stunning, the owners have clearly put a lot of love and hard work into this Barn conversion. Beautifully decorated and expertly finsihed. The views are amazing overlooking the farm and woodland. Especially from the hot tub and raised garden.Hot tub is a great addition (as was the built in Bluetooth) perfect for the bbq area available.Complimentary cheese and Brownies was a nice touch.Thank you Darren and Amanda for having us. We will almost certainly be making a return.

The Old Hay Barn (OHB) is a beautiful cosy property full of original charming features such as the wooden beams in the high roofs and the exposed stone walls. The property itself is placed in the heart of a stunning valley with superb views in all directions, especially from the luxury hot tub. Nearby there are a plethora of gorgeous scenic walks to take advantage of and a great little boozer in the village (10min walk from OHB) to call in on your way home.The owners of the OHB Amanda and Darren are brilliant hosts and are always on hand if anything is required; for example - a bulb went in the bathroom and Darren was there within 30 minutes to change it. Plus on our arrival we had freshly baked brownies, local cheeses and continental wines awaiting us courtesy of our hosts. Exemplifying the attention to detail that makes staying here a great experienceWould definitely return to the Old Hay Barn in the future and hope to soon.

What a wonderful weekend. The cottage simply could not have been better. Beautifully furnished, spotless, comfortable beds and equipped with everything you could need. And with a hot tub and a wood burner as well - heaven! The solitude was wonderful and we loved watching the ducks parade past every day! It was bliss - we didn’t want to leave! Thanks so much for the balloons (my birthday) wine and home made brownies - what a lovely touch. We will be back!!

If you want a 5* luxury break, this 4 bedroom converted barn is the place to go!! With goats ducks and alpacas virtually in the back garden and beautiful views. All the little extras from the cheese board in the fridge and bottle of wine, beers and brownies as added extras we were made to feel extra welcome, will be sorry to leave and will certainly be back.

Idyllic and superb place to stay - you won't want to leave. Excellent facilities in beautiful rural location and great for pets. Nowhere better.
