This is the second time we have used Gavin he made us feel as if he was a party of our family and took the stress away.One both occasions we have been extremely pleased and impressed by the very caring and understanding attitude he showed our family on such sad occasions.We would recommend his company to anyone.

When my Mam lost her short hard battle with cancer I was dreading dealing with the funeral directors as this was my first experience with these kind of things. However I cant thank Kieron and his work collegues enough. They took great care of my Mam and provided an expectional service. Myself and family can only recommend these 100%. Gavin J Reynolds & Son recently conducted my Mam's Funeral with great Compassion and professionalism. Gavin and his colleagues were all accommodating to our wishes . Nothing was any trouble for them even allowing extended family to pay there respects at there chapel of rest out of hours. Every aspect of our Mam's care was outstanding and without fault.The chapel is clean and modern finished to a very high standard with a very homely feel. Mam's funeral went without fault her wishes were for white horses and carriage and they did not disappoint. The Horses were well groomed and looked perfect with plumes and drapes in place . Mam would have been very impressed.We cant thank Gavin J Reynolds & Son enough for the Excellent care they gave our Mam this gave us great comfort to know she was on such trusted hands .I dont think we would have got through this time without there guidance and compassion and professionalism.

Even though my dad’s death wasn’t unexpected, it was still sudden. Dying in hospital, we didn’t have a clue what the procedures were, but the minute I rang Gavin Reynolds, I felt like a huge weight was being lifted from my shoulders. Gavin personally visited us the next day, arrived on time and immediately took control and assured us dad was in good hands. We signed the hospital release form and he went to collect dad straight away to ensure he was in their resting rooms for the weekend and not lying in the hospital mortuary.He sympathetically dealt with our grief, showed professionalism and empathy and answered knowledgeably any queries we had, regarding how the funeral was to be planned. At all times, we felt that Gavin genuinely wanted the best for my dad and the family, his passionate and professional demeanour towards his vocation, is a credit to his company and the clients he assists.Nothing was too much to ask for, dad was dressed in everything we wished him to be and it was the little touches that meant so much, even ensuring that dad was topped up with aftershave every day. When we went to visit dad in the resting suite, Gavin’s colleague Gary was there to comfort us and we left so much happier knowing dad had been so well cared for and to our every request. Very reassuring and consoling at a time when emotions were running so high.We were kept abreast at all times about the planning and what would happen, where and when. On the day itself, Gavin showed dad every courtesy and we felt the whole family couldn’t have been more supported. Our privacy was respected at the burial and we were given as much time as we needed after the interment.Following the funeral, Gavin phoned the next day to check we were content with the proceedings and to personally ask how we were doing. A week later he visited us with the headstone brochures and advised us about the rules regarding these and how to go about placing the order.My 86 year old mam felt comfortable dealing with Gavin and his colleagues and she knew we couldn’t have chosen a better family owned and run business to deal with. We sincerely felt we had made a friend in Gavin over the weeks we dealt with him and although we hope not to see him again anytime soon, we wouldn’t hesitate to use him again if necessary and would, without hesitation, recommend “Gavin J Reynolds & Son, Family Funeral Directors” to anyone finding themselves requiring his services.Thank you Gavin.

After our mother passed away i was dreading the thought of arranging her funeral and all of the official stuff that needs sorting out.I retained the services of Gavin reynolds and his colleagues to carry out my mams funeral.
