Porthmadog Activity and Riding Centre

We came across this place while staying at Greenacres Holiday park just down the road. Myself, my wife, our daughter (14 years) and our son (6 years) had a wonderful time trekking in the hills under the instruction of Wendy. My wife and the 2 children had very little previous experience riding but that didn't present a problem as the ponies were so well behaved. Great location - lovely scenery. We're all looking forward to visiting again! Many thanks Wendy.

We took our three granddaughters, Lola 11 Erin 8 & Mia 7. Wendy's class was excellent , friendly & professional. They had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed it. Thankyou Wendy and your team a fabulous time. We highly recommend a visit for all ages and abilities.

My wife and kids went out trekking here, when we arrived at the time booked they had no idea about the booking. The owner turned up who l had booked with and then a mad rush to get my family off. On their return they had a good time but did say that how unprofessional the two leading girls were, moaning how long they had to go counting down the minutes and talking about their nails. That really makes you feel welcome, also paying no attention to the little girl on her own at the back with only my wife checking on her (my wife being an experienced rider). Poor for her money paid.

My experience here was brilliant me and my dad both when on the 1 hour horse ride there where some brilliant views and there where chance to canter if you liked. But if you are not experienced the people their are lovely and will pull you along with rope, my horse spud dint want to walk at the start and a lovely girl pulled me along but the horse was great and there are different horses for all shapes and sizes plus the ride lats a bit longer than an hour and it was very cheap and they gave us the most of our money. Thank you for the experience xxx

My 21 year old son and I had a really nice ride out with Wendy last week.The views were stunning and Wendy was full of interesting information about the area.The ponies were lovely and the tack was clean and comfortable .We would definitely recommend for a relaxed ride. Shame we live so far away as we would be regulars.We will be back next year.
