I can’t describe fully how rude my encounter was. It was bizarre. The attitude was on another level! So strange!!! Older lady, short buzz cut. Was awful. If she hates her job / her life that much then do something about it. So not to treat others with disrespect and rudeness. Im not sure why she’s being allowed to work there. As the face of a company she one of the first people you see and makes the bakery look dreadful and unapproachable. She treated me and my friend like we where scum of the earth coming in to collect a TooGoodToGo. We do this for a bit of fun to see what we get. However this could be someone’s lifeline that day! They could of scraped together £3 to try and eat for the first time that day! To me it’s quite fun! To others it’s an important source of food. But she makes you feel embarrassed. As if she’s doing something beyond her duties to fulfil and quite frankly has made me realise I won’t be returning and will advise others to avoid. Because her attitude can ruin your day. It was 23/01 approx 1630-1700. There was a younger lady with blonde hair. That when the older lady was snappy the blonde lady was polite and fully explained what the old lady meant. So she should be recognised for being polite. However older lady (I do not know your name) what is your problem?

Ordering is like applying for a mortgage with constant confusing terms and conditions on what you are allowed at that moment. Staff friendly but a bit abrasive and rushed. Ordered 2 x 5 item breakfast which was stressful working out what was and wasn't to be given, 2 toast, 2 pizza slices, 2 teas. Was charged £22.50 when it should have been around £19. Didn't get a receipt. Service was quick, food hot but not very fresh. Tables often still with leftovers, nowhere to put them.

Sayers café are a handy place for a quick simple meal, some of the pricing seems a bit high i.e. pie, chips and gravy with a cup of tea £7.50 (28/7/2023, Liverpool) but it's convenient so hey-ho!!

It's food price it's ok compare to the size bud drinks are dear comparing to other similar type cafés. I had jacked potato which was warm instead piping hot like usually jackets are. Staff is a bit lost especially when is busy but remains polite and helpful.
