I found DC Base online rather than through a friend/recommendation so had no frame of reference other than online reviews and photos and I am so glad I chose them.They were extremely patient and helpful whilst I chose what to do with my bathroom, provided great recommendations and I now have a bathroom that I absolutely love. Super friendly, always on time, tidy and overall good value for money. DC Base recently undertook the task of removing a fireplace and replacing the carpet with vinyl flooring in our lounge.From the outset, David and Paul displayed a high level of expertise. Their attention to detail ensured that the surrounding area was protected, minimising any potential mess or damage.The installation of vinyl flooring was executed with the same level of excellence. The result was a flawless vinyl floor that exceeded my expectations.I am extremely pleased with the outcome of the work. David’s efficiency, and communication set him apart as a builder who takes pride in delivering a first-class job. The option to have a toilet converted to a shower room was one that we floated for several years. The consultancy with DC Base, made it seem like a reality.Choosing fixtures and fittings was an exciting undertaking; the prospect of having a second option would soon be in touching distance.The team provided support throughout, not with styling, as they assure you that has to be a customers choice, more so around what can and cannot fit.The quotation, for us, reflected the level of professionalism and workmanship we would expect for a high end finish.We weren't disappointed.Prep saw our flooring protected, and a rapid, efficient take down of the old fittings. Done in a day, with rubbish removed immediately to the skip located a short walk away. This was how work started and continued...methodical, practiced and unintrusive.Materials were ordered systematically and we were never overwhelmed with team nor their application.Keep the tea and coffee coming though...!2 days in total for tear down and fit out in preparation for the tilers.They too were friendly professionals.2 day fitting and grouting1 day final fit out.An absolutely eye -catching, perfect additional shower room for our family.Brilliant, down to earth team. Price reflective of finish and workmanship.We are so pleased and can't want for the return next week to outfit the upstairs bathroom!We highly recommend DC Base, for a no-no sense, straight talking, professional team.Well done lads!

Top work by Dave and Paul on our bathroom remodel. Completely gutted our dated, existing bathroom, including installing a new stack to change the layout of the new bathroom. Always happy, cheerful and chatty keeping us informed about what was going on and what the next day's work would entail.Being a 120 year old property, nothing is a simple task, but Dave and Paul's workmanship excelled in all areas to give us the finish we didn't think could be possible.Dave offered a very competitive price and undertook extra work (including ripping out an old lath and plaster ceiling) at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend DC Base.

DB Base Ltd did a terrific job with our partial bathroom refurbishment. Dave’s professional but very welcoming approach started when he first came over to quote the job. He listened carefully to what we wanted as a customer, but also advised on what would work best for our needs now and in the future. He turned around his quote promptly with a very competitive price compared to others. When the job started, Dave, Paul and Kieran were punctual, professional and polite at all times and worked very hard over the week to meet our needs. Dave kept us informed every step of the way including telling us what they had done at the end of each day and the plan for the following day. They continually problem solved and also cleaned up at the end of every day. What really stood out for us was Dave’s highly customer-centered approach (he continually kept asking us if we were happy) and how easy it was to get on with him, Paul and Kieran. We felt reassured at all times. They produced a high quality finish which we are very happy with and would highly recommend their services. We will use them again in the future.
