Big fan of Slice! Pizza is spot on, fresh & tasty. Love the creativity of the specials and also good to know the classics are always there. Great value and lovely staff!

Superb pizza, very much New York style and like the pizzas I've had in the States. Akin to the Seaham branch which is also excellent. Not sure what the negative reviews are about. I mean, lack of halal options? Floppy slices? Maybe people need to broaden their horizons from doughy hydrogenated fat fake-cheese pizzas from industrial estate kebab shops.

Thank you very much! You guys listened to my review which I greatly appreciate and I saw the inclusion of a halal option.The teriyaki chicken was really good, loved the taste and flavour. Not a typical pizza flavour but enjoyed it nonetheless.I would love for the underside of the pizza to be a bit crispier but that’s just fine pickings. Otherwise thank you for having a halal option, will be back again!

Really big portion, cost £8.25 for a “meal deal” which consisted of pizza slice, seasoned fries, can of pop and I also got a garlic mayo dip. I really enjoyed and thought it was decent value for money, especially for being based in the city centre.The chips were really nice and fresh, however not too sure on the pizza slice, it tasted good but luke warm and cold quick.Overall I’d order here again.

Huge portions, friendly staff, quick service. The food isn't always fresh (they just warm it up for you) so the cheese sometimes gets a bit rubbery. That said the flavours are spot on, and at the price what can you complain about? It could do with more space to eat in our at least a couple of tables outside, at the moment unless the current three chairs are free, you need to use the benches in the street and take your chances with the drunks and the pigeons.

The first time I visited it was the best pizza I've had. Nicely heated with plenty of cheese. As a margherita should be.Subsequent visits, the quality has been lacking and inconsistent. Less cheese on the pizzas than when the store first opened, implying that they were generous to get people in then stingy afterwards.Today I actually walked out, the margherita was almost bald and overcooked - crust was literally blackened and charred, no slices sold from it. Cheese looked like a layer of parchment. Previous orders have had hardly any cheese on the pizza and they refuse to add extra, even when I offer to pay extra, but today looked so unappetising I left without ordering, truly disappointing.It's a shame, the pizza was amazing when it first opened but the quality hasn't continued. Staff are great. Queues were going out the door when it first opened but now it's quieter, it doesn't take a visit from Kitchen Nightmares to point out that inconsistent quality is a factor. I live in the city centre and would be a regular customer if the quality improves. Fingers crossed.

Decent, honey chili chicken tasted nice. Room for improvement. Maybe a bit seasoning. Takes awhile to heat up a slice, could probably do with a better way of dishing the pizza out instead of 4 little ovens.Seemed like they take it out too soon when there’s a queue.

Too oily ,and to be honest not fresh at all , they just worm it up on the oven . there are other places around much better quality never coming back , and hell no I don’t recommend it at all .
