Taybank Growers Cooperative market garden

Getting locally and ecologically grown vegetables couldn't be easier. It got me using more veg variates, trying new recipes, more aware of local farming and influenced my food choices in general. I think twice before I pick something up in supermarket.....or even about going to supermarket in the first place.We grew loads of veg and fruit when I was little, but it's too easy to fall into shopping in supermarkets and not thinking too much what sort of quality is the food we eat and what impact its produce have on environment, economy etc....Places like Taybank Growers show that we can grow loads locally, there's no need for unnecessary packaging and we can work together as community.Just picked up my weekly veg bag and cooked leek,mushroom and potato soup, baked own bread....ready for yummy lunch!
