Waterside Lawnmowers

As a volunteer gardener at Foyle Hospice I found these guys more than helpful in getting the correct hedge cutter for the job. Very professional staff, great range of equipment and excellent service. Highly recommended.

I bought a Cobra HM381 Hand Push Cylinder Lawnmower at Waterside Lawnmower Centre in mid June 2020. It's cost was £54.99. A week later I wanted to buy another one as a present. I called to make sure they still had them in stock. I was informed they had but it now cost £60. I travelled to the store half an hour later to then be then told it now cost £65... as it was the last one? Not great business practice or customer service and needless to say I did not make a purchase. I got the same mower online at £49.99 with free next day delivery. So much for trying to support local businesses. Be aware and wary of this particular business !Your reply fails to explain why I was advised a price of £60 on the telephone and why it had increased to £65 only half an hour later ?Secondly you wrongly assume I purchased my new mower from the Cobra website. This is incorrect. There are many sites selling this same mower at a much lower price than yourselves. A point you should be acutely aware of in this current climate. For your information I purchased the same make and model of mower from Amazon with free delivery at a cost of £49.99...in total.Also you suggest I left your premises before you had a chance to discuss the sale further. Your memory must be failing you, for I explained to you at length that I purchased the same mower a week previously at a lower price. You failed to offer any explaination at all. In fact you displayed a very ' take it or leave it attitude' as it was the last one in store. You failed to show any interest and I left your store confused at your pricing regime and unhappy at your lack of customer focus or care.

Great shop, I was looking for a Harry Grass Bag & The guys advised that they are no longer made but Waterside went out of their weay to cource me a new bag & fitted it for me.Will deal with again.

I purchased a second hand ride on mower from this company a number of years back for £1100, it was the old fat guy in charge then. I didn't like it and wanted to return it within 2 weeks of use (belt broke etc.) - he was having none of it and would only take it of me for £800.....I hated this place afterwards and vowed never ever to set foot in it again!!!

Have been using waterside lawnmowers for the last few years and the service is excellent. Ian always prepared to go out of his way to get machinery up and running in as short as time possible. Would highly recommend

What a great lawnmower shop. Loads of stock and even more knowledge from the two chaps running it. Great workshop, spares and accessories. I bought a new lawnmower and they even put petrol in it and started it for me. Some change from the last mower I bought (from a national chain hardware store) that I had to put it together from a flat pack!
