Blinding selection of Ales, almost as good as the reception and service we received.Although quite when we were there, top marks for being a dog friendly pub and if your a dog lover you'll need a very big stick to beat this place. LOVED IT

Their first night of food and was perfect. The pizza was absolutely amazing. I would recommend eating there You will not be disappointed. The staff and owner made you very welcome I am looking forward to going back soon

I'm not normally someone to complain...but the food here is sparce on your plate and the chef is lazy...my partners son had a chicken burger...4 chicken goujons 1 piece of lettuce and about dozen chunky chips...no sauce in the burger so dry.....I had a burger with the dozen chunky chips...burger was edible with cheese and lettuce...but it was more like a meatball on the burger bun...lazy and boring for a burger....my partner had fish and chips...hand full of peas and the dozen chunky chips...but he said the fish was not fresh and edible. whole meals and 3 drinks ...49 pounds...rip off for the money...this pub is 2 mins from my new home and I would have been a regular. There was no one round to speak too and as the pub served up not 1 but 3 poorly presented meals...we just thought that they see that as acceptable...we left and posted a poor review on Facebook....the pub then saw fit to call me a Facebook warrior...and told me....we have no issues with me not being a regular" ...what an awful rude reply from this place..."

First meal in Plough & Harrow for lunch today. Very impressed. Good atmosphere, staff were lovely. Will return.

Very disappointed with my meal and the service, when the landlord asked me how my steak was, I was honest and said it was gristly. He had a sudden change of mood. Became rude, dismissive, and overly loud. It was very intimidating and made my friends very uncomfortable.Offered some respite in the form of a free desert which I was rushed to order, but appreciated until it was served with a serving spoon. Humour not appreciated in an altercation, made me feel really tense. Overall a seriously unprofessional manner.I hope this review brings light to this behaviour, and that it can be dealt with appropriately so that it isn't put on future customers.

Visited on first night of food service and were impressed with our meals. My daughter enjoyed her pizza as did everyone else their pasta, steak and fish and chip options. I would recommend eating there and try the meatballs. You will not be disappointed. Fabio and the team are creating a good atmosphere and you are made very welcome. We are looking forward to going back soon. Thank you!

Lovely country pub with the drinks selection of a city bar. Prices can be high and food is not served until late, but overall a nice alternative to the noisy pubs in the town. With an added bonus that this pub is dog-friendly and serves gluten free ales.
