Sexual Health Clinic

As others have said, the hospital could really do with more signage to help people locate the centre. However, apart from some trouble finding it, my experience here was really great. I was having difficulty finding somewhere to have my coil removed and was incredibly nervous that I would be talked out of it or lectured that I hadn't tried it for long enough (as has happened elsewhere). I needn't have worried as I got an appointment within 1 day of calling, and the nurses were so friendly and understanding, and completely agreed that it was my decision whether or not to keep the coil. I was allowed to bring my partner in with me for support. I was terrified it would hurt, as insertion had been horrendous at another hospital, but the whole removal took a couple of minutes and was totally painless. I am so relieved to be done with this and that the centre made the process so easy.TIP: I did not call the centre directly so cannot comment on their phone lines - I called the general Essex switchboard who took my details and asked someone at Orsett to call me back, which they did the next day.

Horrible phone answering automated service. Never answer to their calls, I can only imagine the quality of the services they provide.

Never get my calls answered, have held on phone on position 4 for over an hour.I have called again and been in position 1 For over 20 mins then it was gone 5pm so hung up myself.

I been calling non stop and it’s constantly busy when I went there the said waiting list it’s about 3 weeks,this is disgusting,also there is no more walk in clinic this is bad a the closest one now it’s in Barking very disappointing

Second time in there and very happy with the service. Today I had my second appointment and the lady who took care of me I think her name was Ruby but I all I know she was the team leader. I can’t thank her enough for the way she made me feel today about my insecurities I had. She was so calm so caring so understanding. And very very professional. I enjoyed every second talking to her and the service she gave me was absolutely amazing. I’m glad there’s people like Ruby out there that make your appointment in hospital a good experience. Thank you Ruby ❤️

Mixed review-Automated call service is TERRIBLE. Waited on hold for over 20 minutes and didn't change from position 2 in the queue once.However: the terrible service aside I actually had a very good experience with the staff here they were very kind and helpful the process wasn't rushed and made to feel comfortable before and after treatment. Very friendly (maybe i just got lucky)

Bad service, wrong opening hours and rude unfriendly staff! you have no privacy now between the ladies and gent's section as the wall has been remove, thank's again Tories, racist. ignorant staff, especially how they talk to ethnic minority's, whether making a appointment, or could not cancel appointment due to circumstances.

i have been trying to get an appointment to have my implant out for 3rd week in a row but there is never an appointment. one of the lady was trying to give me an appointment and somehow she changed her mind as orsett sexual health is working on diary -_-
