I returned home from work the other day only to be told that my sister had been quoted £380 for a service on a 1 litre VW polo. I was under the impression they’d be changing the break pads also. Even so, I knew that this was an unreasonable price to pay. Instead of my sister, I went to pick the car up to ensure the work had been carried out and to question why the price was so excessive. Unfortunately the break pads had not been changed… which would explain the tomato like complexion of the ‘gentlemen’ behind the counter.. he went on to explain that the oil and filters had been changed to a standard which ‘couldn’t be compared’ to any other garage.. this work can either be carried out or not done at all? As well as this he said he’d done some visual checks. Embarrassing. Despite the fact he was clearly trying to rip a young girl off, he had the audacity to enter the ridiculous figure into the card machine and turn it round to face me. Jerk.

Holliers and Son have always gone above and beyond when servicing and MOTing my cars. They don’t like to make the decisions for you and do try so hard not to influence you it can feel annoying. But they will happily give you as much information they can so you make an informed decision, so you can not blame the garage for your choice, bad or good.I recommend this garage and it’s team to as many people as I can, whenever asked who is a good garage to look after my car or MOT.

Really sorted me out after the brakes on my car broke. Got the part in no time and fixed it for a reasonable price after a different garage had quoted double and said it might take 3 months!
