Stopped by tonight to pick up some fish and chips, the fish was nice and crispy and the chips were amazing and there were plenty of them. The staff were friendly, warming and i enjoyed chatting while waiting. An amazing addition to the area, keep it up guys!!!

Sorry but really disappointed with the chips here. Tasted stale and rubbery almost like they were cooked days ago and re heated. Such a shame as had read good reviews .

I came here last night for opening week. The service was good, the shopfront was clean and smart, the food was freshly cooked, in generous portions, and absolutely delicious. (For reference, I tried the cod, chips and battered sausage.) I will definitely be a regular here!

Typical chippies nothing special. Staff acted like they had never seen a human before. chips a bit cold and soggy. Nothing “terrible” just another run of the mill fish and chip shop, there are better ones in town. which is a shame was hoping it would be a bit more modern with maybe dietary options that would give it an edge.

Went to Vics last night. Excellent! Fish not overcooked, chips not greasy. Really really nice. We will be back shortly and will be a regular customer. Wish them well.

I recently tried out the new chip shop in town, and I must say, it was amazing! The chips were outstanding! Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The fish was cooked fresh to order, the batter was light and crispy, providing the perfect complement to the succulent fish. It's clear that the chefs take great care in preparing the food to perfection. The service I received was top-notch as well. The staff members were friendly and attentive and the chip shop itself was clean and inviting. Overall it was a great experience and we will be coming back.

Best fish and chips I've had in a while. Surprised to see some bad reviews about the chips as I thought they were very tasty; crispy but not dry. Great staff and quick service, will definitely be a returning customer.

Would never go back dirty, rotten, old chips, fish tasted of nothing dirty oil that’s all I could taste complained asked for the money back. She said the chips are reheated. Loads of bones in the fish and way too expensive. Going back to my favourite chip shop down the High Street. Only went there to give it a try to support a local business can’t support people like this offering really disgusting quality food. Want to take my money, but then give me rotten heated up food no don’t think so be shut in a year

First visit had 2 cod & 2 hake (nice to have something different) but batter was a bit heavy & Chips could have been more crispy as they were soggy. Young staff got orders mixed up between Haddock & Hake.Could be good idea that the Boxes of fish have what they are. For the untrained eye can be confusing.Whilst my visit wasn't great I will give it another try again.

Visited this new shop today, absolutely amazing! Couldn't have asked for better fish and chips. The portions are really generous and the quality is really good. By far our new favourite!
