As with other wetherspoons, there seems to be a thing where people que in one line.four staff behind the bar,one que,if you go straight to the bar you feel you are pushing in.it takes to long to get served. And if someone is ordering food then it will be longer.allot of the tables where a mess.the tea and coffee area was untidy.with no milk and no tea bags so we left.there are for sure better tidier, better run places in morecambe. give it a miss.

Argyle on tour ! Away to Morecambe and have to have my beans on toast and hash browns pre match!! Very busy....hardly any seats. Food not as good as In Oxford Spoons" last week. Good service though. Came in last night too for some drinks. Not my favourite "Spoons". Its better upstairs though."

I know this is a spoons so was just looking for pub grub, but this is one of the worse meals I've ever had. I had chicken burger which was swimming in grease, first bite and all you could taste was dirty oil. My brother-in-laws double burger looked like Iceland's super value burgers at 10p a burger and not lying when he had 6 chips, wife's wings if you squeezed them the oil ran out them. It was later on in the night so don't know about the kitchen staff.I have eaten in here numerous times in the past and never had cause to complain but it had been a while and I certainly wont be again which is a shame as I do normally like spoon's food but it seems to be going down hill fast.That said the staff behind the bar were really friendly and cheap drink, can't say the same for the waitress.

Decent Wetherspoons with the usual decor. Nice seated area upstairs with a fair number of tables, we ate lunch here and it was busy downstairs but a bit quieter upstairs.

I went in for the first time in a long time with my family and the service was great the food was even better I had the fish and chips good size fish crispy batter free refills on coffee was a nice atmosphere great place to eat and catch up with people

Successful spoons formula. Stress free ordering via the app. Plenty seats , refillable tea, reasonably priced food. Very reasonable alcohol prices. Free WiFi. Open 8am to midnight. Everything from toast and marmalade to 3 course dinner with wine available. I had tea and toast - no complaints.

First time visit...Busy spoons, but served quickly using the app....food was good, toilets clean, overall one of the better run ones I'd say, no complaints.

Compared to lots of other wetherspoons pubs this one is poor. The size of the fish was a small portion definitely not a regular. And the mushy peas were cold.One of the pieces of fish was broken apart on the plate. My husband went to speak to the bar staff who said it was a regular fish ( I wouldn't like to see the small) and she questioned if he wanted hot peas"! No apologies and the peas arrived after we had eaten the fish and chips.Won't be coming back here."
