James came round and was a quick and efficient locksmith. He got my window to open and changed the mechanism and also cleaned up afterwards taking the rubbish when he left.I would definitely recommend him.

Cypher came recommended by my neighbour and I can see why. I called James towards the end of the day, expecting to make an appointment in the next few days, however he said he would come over in a couple of hours on his way home and look at the lock, which he did and also kept me updated on his ETA. He was friendly, professional and got the job done quickly and neatly. Would definitely use again & recommend to others. Thank you!

James did a stellar job today breaking my lock, fitting a new one and new handles. I’m really pleased with his work, demeanour and friendliness. A genuine good guy! It’s clear James has a lot of experience with his work making something I was struggling with look so easy!I called early this morning after a search on Google and James was round shortly after, even letting me know when he was close to arriving- very courteous. We talked through the job and prices, he advised me well, and even went to buy handles from the shop for me, since my replacements were the wrong size. I’m very happy with the result! I contacted James based on his reviews, and he lived up to expectations. He got back to me so quickly (in minutes!) and gave me a ballpark estimate straight away. He stopped by the same day, and we had new windows ordered for our garden office (windows had failed) that day. He also repaired 2 windows inside our home. James was timely, did superb work, and he did a thorough clean up when done. If you hire James, you will not be disappointed!

Very impressed with the service we received from Cypher Locksmiths and would certainly recommend this company to friends & family. Initial contact with the company was by phone followed by my providing photos via WhatsApp. Having described the problem with a jammed lock James outlined the possible solutions and costs involved ranging from if the job would be a simple fix to worse case scenario. His pricing for the job was very clear which was reflected in the final bill, exactly what he had quoted. He worked quickly & efficiently replacing the faulty lock barrel and greased other working parts of the lock where needed. Apart from James clearly being very skilled at his craft he is a very polite & well presented young man with a lovely personality. A real bonus to find someone who was willing to drive for an hour to get to our rural location – very impressed.
